Lunchtime rolled around much faster than he had expected. Jian sat up in his seat with his lunch box. But before he could open it, he paused. 'Should I eat it here? that Bian keeps looking my way,' he looked at his so-called sweet brother glancing his way trying his best to be subtle. 'Tsk, he is definitely going to ruin my happy lunch day. Nope. I'm not sitting here,'
He shot up and left the classroom with his lunch box.
Students are given the chance to eat in the classroom or go out into the playground to have their lunch.
'I chose the latter. Why did I even stay in the class looking at his loathsome face.' he thought skiing his head.
But as he approached the playground he paused. That detestable Nansich was playing basketball with his friends.
'Ahh, I escaped from one pest and caught up to another.' He immediately left the place.
Nansich, who noticed his retreating figure distractedly tossed the ball into the hoop. It hit the rim and bounced off.
"No! Boss, what's wrong with you? why are you so distracted ah," his cronies jokingly patted his back.
Nansich smiled. "I'm stellar, dude." He picked up yeh ball and played with them happily. The plans they had made for later that evening were running through his mind. 'Aren't we going a bit extreme?'
"Boss, come on don't be distracted, you missed your shot again,"
"Ah... I don't feel like playing around," he tossed the ball away and sat on the sidelines.
Jian walked up to the other side of the school building and sat in the stairwell. 'Ah finally peace and quiet.'
He ate his cold noodles happily.
After finishing the tasty noodles, he quickly washed the box and ran up to his class happily.
He was slightly late and most of them had left for PE class so the class was relatively empty.
As soon as he entered, he noticed Bian lingering near his table. 'He must be waiting to disgust me... tsk so annoying.' This Bian was similar to a fly.
He keeps buzzing around but it's hard to capture him and crush him.
'Goodness, why didn't I notice how annoying this human is.' he sighed softly and walked up to his seat.
"Jian... I brought a crema bun. I thought I'll leave it here for you," he said gesturing to the crem bum on the tale.
Jian raised a brow. 'What did he do to it this time? rolled it to the ground. Stomped on it? worse did he add poison.' His brow lowered into a frown.
He was not immune to poisons. If this Bian one day decided to deal with him and poison him it would be the end of his life.
That was also the reason he did not directly deal with Bian. He wanted to weaken this formidable opponent before he would crush him.
"Thank you, brother," he smiled cheerfully.
Bian seemed happy at this response and left. "Pe class has already started don't be late."
Jian smiled and nodded. He quickly changed into his PE uniform. His bored gaze fell on the cream bun. 'I should not even feed animals with this…. who knows. Bian might one day retort to poisoning me. I need to be prepared.'
He gripped the bun hard enough that the crema squeezed out.
Carelessly he tossed it in his bench and left for classes.
The gym room was filled with the dirty smell of socks as they all had to remove their shoes at the entrance. Everyone was stretching on their mat with their partner.
Jian looked around. There seemed to be no one to practice with him. he simply sat on the sidelines and observed. Today they had to share a class with their seniors.
Most of the young men in that class seemed to be looking at Bian's way. some even gazed at him and waved with a smile.
'What is the appeal? There are so many beautiful women yet they seem to be attracted to Bian… does he have some type of magic item.'
Thinking of a magic item he suddenly remembered his pendant. He gripped it through his shirt. 'Bian cherished this pendant… there must be a reason for that.'
This dull green stone pendant had been with him ever since he could remember.
'If this was any gemstone that old lady would have sold it already.'
In fact, his grandmother had it tested when he was about ten years old to deal with her gambling debts. Thankfully It was just a common stone.
So, he was able to keep it with him.
'Why would Bian need this... is this something related to my identity.'
He knew he was an alien and that he had some weird stone in his forehead. 'Wait… what color was that stone that Bian dug out.' he touched his forehead with a frown.
It was green.
'These two rocks are definitely connected.'
Coming to this conclusion he started to grip the rock tighter. 'Then I must hide it carefully. Where can I safely keep it so that Bian won't find it?'
He can't keep it at his house. Bian would easily rummage through his small room and find it.
'I can try hiding it in school…'
After the alien invasion, this school became a medical base and a safe haven for a while.
'Hmm good... I'll safekeep it here.'
Pe class went by fast. The students returned to class with lingering scents of sweat.
Jian grimaced. Young humans sweat so much. His own body seemed to lack that. he never once stank like this even when he sweated like a pig.
He walked into the class to see three class teachers searching through their bags.
'what's this?' he nudged the student close by. "what's going on?"
"They got an anonymous report that someone was smoking behind school yesterday."
Jian felt his stomach drop. 'Wait, did Bian mess with my bag… shit…' he wanted to go to his bag but the teachers stopped him.
They checked his bag and looked at him with a frown. "Jian come to the staff office." The teacher tossed out three packs of cigarettes.
'Fuck that Bian!'
