Chapter 61 - Chapter 61 - Taking charge

Bian sat in his seat with a happy grin. Yesterday, he had noticed a bodyguard following him, so he did a few kind actions to show off to them. He even saw the bodyguard smiling and writing something down.

"I'm pretty sure I'm in their good books now! It's definitely going to be me who's chosen. Not him..."

A huge grin rose on his face at the thought of his brother.

"I bet he's going to become a cripple. Haha, who told him to mess with me? He should have been an obedient little brother to me. I would have taken good care of him~ but he wanted to rebel and become the main character. Oh no, I will never allow that." He clenched his fist. "This will be an example of what happens when you go against me. Who knows, he might even come back and fall to his knees begging me to take him back home..."

At that thought, he let out a soft giggle.

Nanasich, who was next to him, glanced his way. "You look happy today. Is there any special occasion?" he playfully grinned.

"No... just happy with my life." He sat humming a soft song. "Let's go have lunch at the barbecue place. It's my treat." He gazed at Nanasich, but the boy was looking at something else with a slight blush on his face.

'What is he looking at?'

He looked that way, only to see Jian enter the class.

'No way!' He shot up, peering at him intently.

Jian was not walking with a limp and didn't have any wound on him! In fact, the wound on his face was also healed properly, leaving his skin pale white. He looked prettier than before.

It was like there was a glow around him!

'What happened?! I sent that viper after him to take his leg off! Why is he still intact?!'

As if noticing his gaze, Jian looked his way with a huge grin. "What, Bian? Surprised to see me? Oh, I'm surprised too," he walked closer to him and leaned in. "I'll make sure to wipe that happy smile off your face sooner or later, my dear, dear brother~"

Bian stumbled back and fell on his seat with a thud. "No… I… Jian, I think you misunderstood."

"I understood it very well..." Jian leaned close, caging him with his arms. "You want me dead. But that is not going to happen, Bian. Instead... it will be you who will lose every time. I'll make sure to take you down."

His gaze then fell on Nanasich, who was looking at him dazedly. "Hi, Nanasich."

"Hi…" The boy blushingly waved at him.

With a victorious grin, Jian went back to his seat. He had never felt so accomplished before in his life!

'Oh my god, taking down that bastard really has a kick to it. Maybe I should do it more often,' he thought with a giggle.

The class started soon, and Jian started to concentrate on the subject.

Lunch came around quickly. He rushed out of the class down to the canteen. The students had already run down to get their food. Today, he had packed some porridge, but it was too bland by itself. He simply wanted to get some chips to eat with it.

But looking at the crowd standing by the shop's window, he sighed and left.

Nanasich, who was nearby, saw this. "Your brother is here," he tugged at Bian's shirt.

Grunting, Bian pushed his hand away. "Why is he here for?"

"I think he was here to get food. Does your grandpa give him money for food? He seems to have slimmed down," he muttered to himself and ran to the store.

Watching this, Bian was beyond furious. "Fuck!" he cussed under his breath and quickly called the goons he had sent. "What happened?!"

"Some weird guy came and called the cops. We had to run. Don't worry, my kitten. I'll get the job done today."

"You better get it done faster because if not, I will never, ever talk to you again!" Without waiting for a reply, Bian cut the call with a grunt. "Fucking hell, none of these guys are useful..."
