People were so distracted by Bian's 'fainting' that they did not proceed with the case. Jian coldly watched them lift him off the ground. There even seems to be a bit of blood at that spot. 'did he hit his head again? Ah I wish to God that he will grow a sensible brain and leave me alone."
"That was brave of you," Pamila came up to him and stood by his side. "I'm thankful that you finally decided to stand up for yourself. even if the bully is your brother, you shouldn't have to protect him. family or not bad behavior needs to be punished and corrected at a young age so that when they grow up, they will be upright humans." She said puffing her shoulders.
Jian smiled softly. "You are right…"
His grandmother indulged in Bian's antics so much that he grew up to be crooked. He could remember a time when Bian was such a cute child. He was pale and small like a small dumpling. He adored I'm back then. 'Was he vicious back then too?'
No... he was not.
Bian would actually sneak food to him with an innocent grin. He would sneak him out of his small room and take him to play with his friends...
That Bian was his brother.
This vicious person he grew up to is no longer the brother he cherished rather he was a poisonous snake that waited to attack him from the dark.
He took a deep breath. "Should I make a police complaint... ah I don't think the wang family would appreciate it. what will happen if I ruin is chances at a happy life?" he mumbled to himself.
"What did you say?" Pamila glanced at him with her brows raised.
"Nothing..." Jian smiled down at her.
"no. I just heard wang family… do you know them?"
Jian nodded and shook his head. "I'm mildly familiar with them." he had only ever had the opportunity to meet mister wang the stoic cold-hearted man who came to adopt them. his cold eyes had chosen him I'm an instant.
But Jian had chosen to step back and let Bian leave the house in his place.
'Was he a great father? I bet he was just as crooked as Bian was.'
After all in his last moments in his past life, he was actually trapped in an inhouse prison. No good person would have a prison that stank of blood.
'Wang Bushen is not a good person. Hehe, I hope he and Bian can life a happy life.'
"You should give a police complaint. Not just about the class bullying... but about your home situation as well." Pamila mumbled, pulling him out of his thoughts.
"What do you mean?" Jian curiously gazed her way.
"I know… I know the bully you at home. I've seen you with bruises and black eyes more than I could remember your clean skin." She lowered her head. "I was too scared of Nansich to make a move... but... I didn't want to be a coward just this once. I wanted to help you stand up for yourself just this once. If you had supported Bian's actions I would have given up." she grinned. "Good thing you didn't."
Jian chuckled softly. 'Why did I forget that…'
In his last life, he had indeed met this girl. That day he was convicted for sending illicit photos someone had stood up for him. but the whole day he had his head lowered and cried silently. He didn't even get to see who was the person who helped him.
'it's this girl… looks like I'm not alone… I was pushing people out of my life and keeping a wall around myself. This, in turn, made me an outcast.'
"Thank you," he walked up to her and looked directly into her eyes. "Thank you so much. I appreciate your help."
The young girl blushed. "Don't mention it. it's just a small issue."
"It is not. You just renewed my hope in human beings,"
Saying so, Jian left the staff room with a smile on his face.
