"What is this?!" Elijah slammed a paper onto the assistant's table, making her flinch.
Matthew hurried over and took the paper. He carefully read its contents and suddenly froze.
"Call him right away!" Elijah screamed in anger.
"I can explain, sir," Matthew tried to calm him down.
"Explain what? The fact that he is now trying to plot revenge on me? What did I ever do to him?!" Elijah's voice echoed through the whole corner of the floor.
"No, sir. This is not Mr. Noah's doing," Matthew said, staying composed, and slowly explained the situation.
"I don't want to hear anything from you! Now call him, or I will…" Elijah's words hung there as realisation dawned on him. There was nothing he could do, nothing. He couldn't fight him, one of the big names in the business world.
"Sir…" Matthew looked at him, "I will call Mr. Noah right now and let him explain all of this matter that has been happening to you himself."
