The entire ride from Simpson's house back to the office, Noah had been quiet, and his instincts didn't feel good. When they arrived at Simpson's house earlier, he and his family were nowhere to be found. The whole bungalow was empty.
"We have arrived, sir," Matthew spoke up, snapping Noah from his thoughts.
Noah lifted his eyes, and his gaze fell on Matthew. "Matt, what do you think I should do?"
Surprised by the sudden question, Matthew raised his eyebrows. "Sir, it would be better if you go home first and rest."
Nodding lightly, Noah gathered his things and prepared to step out of the car. "You should rest too. Thank you," he said, sincerely appreciating Matthew's presence today.
"Sir…" Matthew stopped him from leaving. The message he had just received sparked some concern in him, but he decided to deliver it anyway. "Miss Grace…she agreed to sign and will ask her staff to send back the document to you tomorrow morning."
