Noah parked the car in the garage and entered the house. As he passed through the yard, he was puzzled to see Grace kneeling on the ground with Sarah in front of her. Sarah appeared to be in an awkward position, attempting to help Grace up.
"What's happening here?" Noah frowned, voicing his confusion.
Upon hearing his voice, they both turned towards him. In that moment, Grace looked directly at Noah and gave him a subtle smirk, as if to convey, "Do you think I'll stop?" She then stood up, her expression changing. The fear on Grace's face became evident, and she hurriedly moved behind Sarah, seeking safety.
"What are you doing?" Noah asked once again, having already caught onto Grace's deceptive tactics. He stepped forward, attempting to reach for Grace, but Sarah blocked his path.
"What ARE you doing?" Sarah glared up at him, her gaze filled with intensity. "You can go now," she half-whispered to Grace, who trembled while clutching her arm.
