It went as Noah had expected. Grace's actions were reminiscent of her character—messy and predictable. He remained silent for a few moments, his gaze coldly fixed on Zara. "Who are you?" he asked, his voice filled with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.
Zara's throat tightened as she gulped nervously. Her lips trembled as she tried to form a response. She wondered why Noah wanted to know her identity. "I am just someone she paid to do a job," she replied, offering only a partial truth.
Noah's frown deepened, and he didn't appear satisfied with her answer. He tilted his head slightly, studying her face intently. "Why do I have this feeling that your face is quite familiar?" he questioned, his tone filled with uncertainty.
"A lot of people had been telling me the same, perhaps my look is common, ha ha," awkward laughter was out of Zara's mouth and it sent out the hint of lying.
