"I don't owe you any explanation," Noah replied coldly, his hand gripping the door knob.
"What's with this behaviour? You're the one who claimed to love me. Was it all a lie, Noah?" Sarah's words stopped Noah in his tracks, preventing him from leaving.
He turned to face her, his gaze filled with icy indifference. "Love? And what about you? Do you love me?"
Noah's unexpected question left Sarah stunned. She was silent for a few seconds, grappling with her own emotions. "I don't fully understand my feelings, but I am marrying you not out of hatred. Can you say the same?"
Noah's intense stare bore into Sarah's as he tried to come up with an answer. "Well…" he stepped back, moving closer to the door, and a subtle smirk formed on his lips. "I just realised something," he chuckled. "There's nothing about you that I love."
