The morning came with a spontaneous visit from the second prince in my chambers. Prince Caelan insisted on discussing an important matter with me.
I feared he wished to discuss the trial going on in the palace. The decree the king and his court were making concerning my life. I was too stressed out to hear them out and bear with their dictatorship on what's right and wrong for me.
I needed to do the spell that Ywain suggested and pass on the curse of being the prison holder to him. It was kind of Ywain to offer to help me, to save me from myself and the burden of the madhouse weighing on my shoulders.
"Prince Caelan, may you live long, " I greeted him.
"Incirion, Laith, " Prince Caelan bowed his head. Henrik locked the doors behind him, letting us have privacy as we sat down for tea.
"What happened to us, Laith? " Caelan inquired.
