I rushed for an audience with Xerek. I had to consult him about the wave of colors and what they meant. It was his signature move, if anyone could tell me what was happening to Zephirin it was him.
I stepped into his chambers, where he was busy packing his clothes. A sign that he was planning to leave.
"Going somewhere? " I inquired.
Xerek sighed. He dropped his shirt to the bed and turned towards me. His eyes held unspoken rage.
"Disappear Incirion, I have no wish to entertain you, " he shooed me away in irritation.
"I'm not here for myself, " I uttered. "I'm here to ask you about your friend Zephirin. "
"I don't want to entertain him either so leave, " he turned me around forcefully and showed me the door.
"His eyes keep changing color the way your eyes did when you first arrived in Liradia, " I let out in one breath.
