Hair fell on Zephirin's forehead, nearly hiding his third eye that formed in between his eyebrows.
"You play your game well," he gave Rezelna credit. "But I thought I asked you not to tempt my fury or taste my patience, " he let out.
The goddess rolled her eyes at his show of anger. His outburst didn't disturb her composure. She folded her hands in front of her chest and sneered in mockery at Zephirin.
"What are you going to do? Stare me to death?"
I hoped Zephirin had a way to wipe her smirk from her face. Her attitude disgusted me. And the people in the room shared the same feeling. The goddess provoked hatred in their hearts for her with her actions and words.
Prince Zephirin went down on his knees in front of the goddess. I panicked. The last thing I wished to see was Zephirin pleading with the heartless woman. She didn't deserve his tears or his pleas.
