"So tell me from your own mouth". Ash says, getting serious out of nowhere. Changing the mood along with it.
"What happened with your sister"? He says, taking a deep inhale of his cigarette.
"I've only heard bits and pieces from Nero's perspective but you're her brother". Ash says looking at Blake with utmost respect.
"Right". Blake exhales deeply.
"I was doing my retakes on the finals, to enter the military. I thought they would solve all my problems. But during the retake... Hunters had ambushed the place". Blake says as plumes of smoke escape his mouth.
"Shit kid". Ash says at a loss for words.
"Yeah during the start of the exam things felt off but i didn't know for sure". Blake says kicking up some dirt with his foot in the remembrance of the event.
"Then I got locked in the sim room with the other contestants. I had to battle it out with a couple hunters and nearly died in the process".
