*POP*
A midnight fire flickers into Nero's vision. Reds yellows and oranges start to make sense once again. As the roar of the fire enters his ears. He catches his bearings seeing a makeshift camp before him.
"My goddamn head. It feels like it's about to short circuit". He says rubbing his forehead to ease the remaining pain. Tarp and sleeping bags come into view as the makeshift abode make itself none.
"Finally, here I thought I was going to be alone in this desert all night" Ash says relieved. Flicking the end of a cigarette into numerous others in the sand. The smell of ration stew enters their empty stomachs.
"I'm glad you survived Nero. I really am glad" He says, tearing up a little through his exhale of smoke.
"Here I thought that was it. Slate wiped all of you gone, who knows if i would have even survived". Ash says, pulling out another cigarette.
