The feeling of a swirling tornado sends shudders through Blakes consciousness, like someone taking out the plug of a tub he's sucked away into the depths of blackness.
"Raven, It's all my fault'' His thoughts start to come to a crawl as he is brought into the embrace of the void.
"I should've told you everything.'' His own guilt and shame try to shoulder the blame on himself.
"I JUST COULDN'T RISK LOSING YOU TOO''. Emotions swirl inside his mind creating a storm of sorrow.
''Look what good that did''
''If you knew, something, anything could have happened''.
''You could have alerted me, you could have relied on me then'' Like a brick to the head his emotions, regret and shame coalesce into a crushing force on his mind.
''Something could have changed''. His sorrow and regret fully dominate any blooming hope in his mind.
''Why, why, I got so caught up in my own goals I didn't consider what I had''. The obsession over his loss starts to choke away at his awareness until.
"Oi Oi, quit your pity party I don't want to hear it right now" The familiar low pitched voice starts to take shape into its own definition now.
"There was nothing you could have done". A similar higher pitched voice to Blake starts to shape and ring out in his mind.
"You weren't strong enough, your hands were tied and the situation wasn't even in your favor". From the depths of the malevolent green energy crackling through the void a figure finally forms into an outline of green the same swirling blackness filling the inside.
"You nearly died". The voice rings at him sending a flick to Blakes mental projection. Disrupting his flow of sorrow.
"Thank whatever delicious energy came flooding in if it wasn't for that you would be still lying in a pool of blood". The figure projects Blakes mangled body in the void.
"Wait a minute, you're that thing"! Blake says, piecing together the similarities.
"Thing, charming". The figure lets out an irritated sigh.
"I'm not a thing I'm my own being, I just share a vessel with you"
"So you've now decided to have a conversation with me". Blake says with an annoyed tone through his sorrow.
"Not the typical grunts or basic responses huh". Prodding at the bear in his mind. Blake teases the figure before him.
"Finally gripped your weird language so I thought I'd give it a go crybaby" A crackle of zigzags paints a smile on the figure's face.
"Don't worry it sounds fun crushing those bugs to get your kin back" Clenching the outline of a fist.
"You can thank me later". A wide joyful smile fills the irregular smile.
"Just let me run wild while you rest, I doubt you're in any condition to think straight through this". The figure says prodding at Blakes trauma.
"Wait, I'm returning to my body" Blake says with adamance trying to brush off the onset of sorrow and trauma of the whole event.
''No you're not. Like I said it's my turn'' An electrified smile cracks its way through every corner of the pitch black of Blake's mind.
"I'll wake you when I've made some progress". Slowly the projection of Blake is wrapped in a cocoon of the void around him.
"Oh by the way, please give this place something. I'm tired of it being pitch black. All I can do is sleep and sift through your mind".
''Till then, sleep well Blake". With that the cocoon of the void slowly closes off Blakes awareness to the outside world.
"WAIT, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO'' Blake yells out trying to pry the cocoon of the void off of him.
"Have some fun, of course"! The green figure punches its fists together.

"WHAT"!!! With that Blake is brought into the deepest depths of his mind. Falling into a slumber of a different kind.
At an out of city hospital
"Glad to see you made it Kiara you're a swift for a reason, got here in record time" Morgan says teasing Kiara.
"I still don't get how you do it, you're faster than any speedster I've come across" Her mind runs circuits trying to figure out Morgan's trick.
"What if I told you it's not speed but lack of time" He says rubbing the side of his nose.
"What"? Astonishment shoots throughout her.
"I can stop time, with my own set of drawbacks obviously" A mischievous grin spreads across Morgan's face.
"Normally feels like bone piercing pain, or skin slowly being ripped off. But you get used to it". Morgan says slowly, raising his hands. Sending them behind his head.
"Especially this one but it was an emergency" He says grabbing some food from the Hospitals Holo vendor
"Hospital food always tastes the worst". Morgan says through a grim expression as a piece of sandwich hangs out of his mouth.
"I think I get it. Where it would take me 10 minutes to get here. You don't follow those rules at all!" Kiara says slamming her fist into her palm.
"Exactly, I dismiss the concept of time only for as long as my body can handle". Morgan says as he drowns his mouth out with soda.
"Oooohhhh, so you must be a Phoebe. My dad would always talk wholeheartedly about your family". A bit of joy enters Kiara's gloomy expressions.
"Loyal till the end I heard". Kiara says with admiration in her eyes thinking of her fathers stories.
"Huh, that's not the most popular opinion on us that's for sure". He says wiping away the rest of the horrible sandwich.
"Are you the two that brought Pyre and that boy"? A nurse chimes in through their conversation.
"Yes we are". Morgan says finishing the rest of his soda in a hurry.
"I have some good news and some bad news. Which would you like first"? The nurse says with a stoic face.
"Bad news please it's good to have the worst dealt with first"
"Agreed" Kiara says mentally preparing herself.
"Currently Pyre is suffering severe wounds throughout his whole body, some bones have been fractured and cracked apart alongside heavy blood loss".
"On top of all this he overused his power". The nurse says going over the file again and again to make sure everything he is saying is correct.
"At the moment we don't know when he will wake up if at all" A hardened face of composure paints the nurse's face not sugarcoating any of the news.
"We're still dealing with causality after causality, so many are pooling into hospitals after what happened at the retakes". The nurse says with a deep sigh.
"It's a good thing you two managed to reach an out of city hospital otherwise we would already be full to the brim, we're nearing that as it is". The nurse says seeing the abundance of patients in the waiting room.
"We've got Pyre set up in our best medical pods available. Better regenerative fluid plus we have a constant rotation of healers for him and any other critically wounded".
"So his body should recover, it just depends on if his mind can keep up". The nurse says staffing off a grim expression from forming.
