I've never heard that getting out of jail was something to be congratulated for.
But it doesn't seem wrong either.
"Thank you."
Chu Yao responded candidly, her arm bent as she reached inside from resting on the window ledge, and knocked from the inside of the car door, casting a glance toward Nan Jiaojiao.
She asked him, "What's going on?"
Regarding Nan Jiaojiao and Bo Yanching's situation, Lu Zhenzhen had already told Chu Yao, but not in detail. She had intended to wait a few days, but now that they had met, she might as well ask for clarity.
Bo Yanching, of course, understood. The hand that was supporting Nan Jiaojiao's lower back moved to her waist, gripping it, "We're negotiating."
"Hmm," Chu Yao raised her eyebrows slightly, "then negotiate well. I am Jiaojiao's family, and if you treat her badly, even if I can't beat you, I'd stake my life to fight you for her."
Bo Yanching wasn't angry, "That day will never come."
"That's good to hear."
