Pei Dongshi had the temperature just right.
With one sip, warmth surged through her body, and Nan Jiaojao sighed comfortably.
But before she could take a few more sips, Pei Dongshi tossed a stack of documents onto her lap.
"What's this?" Nan Jiaojiao was terrified of these official-looking reports and didn't even want to look at them, trying sneakily to shake them off her lap.
"The financial report for the first half of the year."
She knew it!
"Senior brother..." Nan Jiaojiao put on a painfully bitter face.
Pei Dongshi's face looked even more troubled, "Don't start. E.Y wasn't founded by me alone. You handle nothing and dump everything on me, playing the absentee landlord pretty comfortably."
Nan Jiaojiao feebly defended herself, "I do submit the design drafts to you every quarter."
It would have been better not to mention that, for as soon as she did, Pei Dongshi's eyes suddenly gleamed coldly, "Don't start. You're my partner, not an employee. Stop slacking off."
