The truck door clunck closed. She finds herself comfortable in such a damp cold graveyard. Her grandpa reached in the back and tossed her a sword in sheath. She caught it well and puts it on correctly. She makes little charms hang in odd spots around the truck and general area. She look outwards to the movement of energy's and the types of wavelengths in crossing. She smirks impressed of the vast amounts and wipes on a grey creaked mask of no face features. It's was impossible to see through but she seems to. They were matching uniforms otherwise, ex military. They looked ready to crash a sword war in modern armour. Together, they walked side by side. Matching foot work and speed. She brought calm to her grandpa, as the temporary ring between them is working. She doesn't impose anything more into this basic tie, she didn't want him cursed by her.
'The gate is this monument here.' They approach an angel marble that holds a wrath of Holly. This is an open arch into a sealed place of where a whole family plot of crematorium vases are kept. Painted into the wall was another arche. This was what they walked through to crossing into the Sigil path.
This part of the sigil was that of the vast sandy beach of no water. Instead the edge is that of crossing to die. But for as long they are on this side of the sand, they are alive. She finds her eyes dancing to other sand walking beings and those that live in such place. She glanced the dead side too, envious looks. She striaghtes and follows her grandpa. As he on a mission and keeping focus of this mission.
"What do we have here? It's rare to see living undertakers." The contact they been needing for this request, "The kingdoms of Unicorn is unsecure these days, it feels like the Dragonfly curse." The mid rank demon shurgs.
"They don't even know what you mean, so stop talking about it. These are humans." Angelic fallen angel knocked thier partners arm.
"You are to escort us to a guild desk. That is all." Her grandpa commands.
"Are the lions still in war with the Lynx?" She asked. The demon smirks glad someone is keeping updates.
"Yes. Although it's not good for the Lions. They been unable to produce more undertakers. They been loosing out soul population. Fleeing the wars it seems." She knows the turth for why but it's nice to hear progress. She back to mute and the walk from the sand onto stone floor wasn't long. The desk was fast approached. She stops behind her grandpa, guarding his back as he interacts with the counter.
"It was mighty amazing to watch her put the clock of chronological in the gods chest back ticking. The second he was awakened, he screamed at her. There he was forever to use referenced as the little child in a metal clock." Laughter whirls with the sound of a rain stick. The god of Death posed patience but uninterested of the creatures tales, "She could pluck your soul out for a laugh. You mustn't be so rude. She has a strange ways about her. The younger she is, the more brazen of playing with the grey laws." The thing slaps deaths back, "Ease up little god. She is right here. I knew she find me." Standing in disturbing the tables of hunters. Carried death like a prized pet, "My old lady of souls. You youth is creepy upon this set of eyes." Right over her and her grandpa. Her grandpa keeps busy with the counter, "Ah... yes. I do forget. Forgive my rude." It lowered to kneel to her and it posed death to do the same, "We are long time in broken time allies. I am one of many you saved in broken pages. A survivor of the wars beyond existence. You can at least know that much right?" She stares down at the being. She studies it a long time. She had even lost herself depth in so many of her voices inside herself. Her grandpa turned and raised blade in shock. In fear of this monster.
"Be at ease. It's nothing but a speck in a cosmos. He is..." She lowered her grandpa, "Well it doesn't matter. What did you want me for?" She makes them stop kneeling, "I am sorry but I am a little lost. Even since my souls repairs, things have become hazed."
"Splended. I am most happy to pay a debt back. You saved me and taught me. I can teach you as you taught me." It was to its full high and looses the glamour to nit hides its real face. She stares bemused of not seeing any changes at all. The whole area seems in disarray and scatters from this monster.
"You remind me of something." She pondered and brought out a charm, "I seem to not forget you. Was it OK of me to always carry a memory of you?" She gives the charm to the monster, one the many arms reached taking it from her. It snuffed sad and pleased.
"Oh little lady. You mean so much to so many a soul. Its an honour you haven't forgotten me." It turned to pose to the death god, "Look I been being a good soul. I make sure to have a death god with me. You mustn't worry." She looked to the death god. She particularly noticed his sycthe and tome. She stares square to death with such calm. She turns with then facing a nervous looking broken bird, this being Loki. Although his terrified of this creature before her. She turned back woth assessing the monster size and the way laws bend around him. The way it speaks languages in strings. She understood it plenty.
"Is it a threat?" Her grandpa asked, shivering.
"It depends on what scale your trying to fathom to. His harmless to us within the boundary. Although like me, we can do some terrifying damage to things." She shurgs, "I am so sorry lord of decay. It would seem a old soul from my existence outside if this universe has taken a liking to you. As a true title, this must be getting in the way of you work. Please continue to watch over this guy. He has a bad habit of eating things he shouldn't. Like me, repairing souls is what we do. But this creature breaks some very important soul laws. You must not let him eat your souls or souls of God's. You are welcome to have him repair other souls in the meantime and devouring monsters is what a monster needs." She speaks gentle towards the god and fluent in the gods language. Her grandpa blinked several times as she spoke.
"Aren't you human?" Death needed clarification.
"I am and not. I break the rules too. But this isn't a problem is it? I not causing any crisis am I?" She tilts and death crossed arms. He unfolds with taking the tome out. He opens the page and one more it's watery. She doesn't give it a second thought. both her hands dove into the pages surface. She stirs about for a bit and back out her hands are.
"That tickled." The monster purred.
"It's name seems fine by me." She shrugs and death looks between her and the book alot. He has a long pause and with looking at her deeply. She sticks her hand in one more time and touched about bits. She back out with another nod, "It's a nightmare dweller type. He will creep about with the other urban myths. You know. Big foot and skin walkers. Them folks." He moved the tome out of her reach. To stop her, "Oh, I wasn't going to steal souls out the book. Your book is special. Unlike that of the core index. Your the only god able to access the core index pages, be it fragments. But it isn't enough to know soul names like from reading out of the index itself." She teaches death and he puts away the book, "Your book can request other index tomes, meaning your one of the few mutiverse gods who tracks multiple universes at once. You have a cosmic connection to other true death gods, that's what makes you unique to this universe. You're not that special in the way of other death gods I met. But you don't need to be. This is the only universe that time reverts naturally. Not artificial as others do. This is the unique way our universe stands out from the other ones."
"Are you human?" The monster interrupted too.
"That insight is most maddness I heard from any mortal." Death glares down.
"Yes... I am sure." She agreed to death, "It doesn't matter anymore what my soul was. I am just human for now on. Just a haze of all these things that never happened." She huffed and adjusted her tones back around. She faced her grandpa with a soft smile, "Do you find my creepy ally most terrified? He has to be scary to do his job right." It takes a long time for her grandpa to have composure to reply. The creature and death god leave by then. The room settles. They had to sit down for a moment. Once there was another nerve.
"What sort of life of hell do you think that consider looking at that it thing was normal?" Her telepathic link through the ring was used.
"If I could explain what it'd like to have a broken soul name, I would have told you a long time ago. But I can not. So I accept my veiw of the world around me isn't normal. Its always getting me in trouble. Mom thinks I am stupid. That I can't understand or focus on important things. She doesn't understand that I am focused on impossible and important things all the time." She replied back telepathic, "I am only human. I can't be human of I start returning to way I am."
"Then you aren't living at all, Eliza." Her grandpa taking her hand, "If you have to hide who you are, then you will never be happy." He looks back about the room, "I may not see what you do. You may turn not human." He looks her deep into her eyes, "But you must always stride to be best version of yourself. Even if it means you are monster from darkness. All I ask is that you keep within law. You don't start murdering folks for sport or become some threat to the rest of us. I know you. You have always protected me when you think I don't know." She smirks at that.
"You really mean that, grandpa?" She tilts, "I used to break souls to put them back together." She being honest and he had to think about it.
"Did you break them to stop them suffering? That it was a last option. A mercy. That you made such a choose with whole heart intent of helping them out?" He hold her harshly of her hand. She clasp tightly in meeting his courage and honesty. She nods certain of him and with no wavering of her heart. He smiles.
"Then you should always be yourself at the best you can be. Even if you scary the daylight out of gods." He spoke normal for that last part.
"Sure, grandpa. I don't intent to scary people. That's not who I am." They work better now as they attempt again for the counter here in a Sigil cross walk guild set up. Taking on several easy contracts and getting his rank raised. She finds her pretend rankings improved and her fake hunter ids all upgraded due to this. The real id is still a glitching mess of many languages. All her skills have renamed themselves and have became English translation. The descriptions of skills are partly making sense now she has experience or is aware of things. The more she learned to understand the universe she in that better her panel was for her. She had picked up several books purchased at the sigil guild. In just touching them, unlocked more language barriers and skills. A forbidden red skill was released.
"The commander of the unknown abyss?" She read the title from her real id and taps through in what that meant. She finds herself locked in recalling a lot in a blank stare of such title. She puts sway the panel. Back in focus of the jobs she doing with her grandpa. Under his hand, he taught her sword styles and more. He explained the difference of pain felt from them to humans.
He went further in doing everything to teach his mysterious granddaughter all he knows. Painting the view and perspective he understands his place in this universe. Her grandpa, although, feels that his granddaughter was something in the future to be careful around. He felt cold in his afterthought about giving her such advice. He can only blame this place. This is the curtain away from human life. He felt compelled to act on his souls wishes. Deep down, even if it was a poor sense of timing and a bad arrangement, it was right of him to speak this honest wish. That he wishes only the best for those he looks after. If she shines her brightest in the strangest of creepy things, then that was her place to be in this universe. It is right that she should be herself, as he be his best self. To be the best grandpa to her. Selfish but selfless.
Every part he taught her now was going to be some foundation of understanding she going to carry with her later. He will make sure that she knows the limits of humans amongst the spirits. He will be the stance she will veiw filters with. Its a parents job to teach thier children. He couldn't for his own daughters, but he will for the grandchildren. Every fibre it takes. Swallow fear and pride to be the best role model. The temporary ring that tied them as a pair is stronger now. But it is still removable.
"Wow, what a well paired set you are." Claps of the request maker, as the slay of criminal demons were tied down under the feet. The cop training was well placed, pinning and cuffed the detained. She was speaking the charges the demons needed to hear as this stranger was interacting with her grandpa. He stares blankly in inspecting the demons approach, mostly of the uniform, sigil id prompt and making sure there no mistake to hand over these convicts. This man is indeed the one that made the request to capture these demon law breakers. But the choose to give them to this man directly or through the guild is being weighed. She stood up with guarding her Grandpa's back, as there was approach of more able fighters.
"These pair seem to be among the dead sorts. These are undertakers of the traditional way." Speaking in high demon tongue among its allies. She understood them but doesn't say anything. She did warn her grandpa in telepathic connect. So her grandpa took more cautious gander at the situation.
"Do you think these demons are guilty?" He asked her openly and she studies them all. Even those under her feet.
"We can cast the divine curse of judgement if you want. It's the spell death gods use to send lost soul to their place. It's also as undertakers use to repel those that don't stand the grounds of purgatory law." She explained her option, "We just sort of do it naturally. I seen mom do it plenty of times. She does that glare and the demons flees." He chuckled at this, that his daughter doesn't realise she can cast spirit magic. That his granddaughter can see it in action.
"Will it be a issue to us?" He asked her. She shurgs.
"Judgement is on all souls. The crimes we weigh will felt by both caster and accused. You may feel thier sins. They say wear sin like a crown of thrones, just as the son of God has for the rest of humanity." He thinks about this since its her that's the expert of this spell than him. Her explanation and advice was to be heeded.
"I mean... I have salt too. We can do that." She takes a pouch out and he scruffs her head.
"Smart girl. Very well prepared." He does exactly that instead which is that he opens it and began spray it all these demons. They sneer and hiss. Those who can scatter. Leaving the worms in cuffs to shiver and the high demon frowning at loosing game.
"This sucks. Fine. Take them to the guild. I pay the fetch fee." Grumbling in exiting. Demons lifted like potatoes sack over shoulder. They laughed together and got on with returning them back to the guild.
"That's impressive stuff." The counter lady huffed, " Here the fee payment, your id upgrades and rewards. You taking anything else?"
"We don't require anything else for now." He takes the rewards and Eliza tossed the two lumps over to the holding cells. The counter lady smiles of her good day. They retreat back to a quiet corner to sort the rewards. Grandpa ticking over in pondering what she could possibly need to do to raise herself. She simply enjoys her time with him. Enjoying the time they have to spend. He is going to be busy with her brother after this.
"Where is he?" Her grandpa asked with her thinking about this question.
"His raising his ranking with the dark counter. Just as this is the undertakers counter. There's one for mask ones. The spirit people don't and aren't allowed to understand the mask society. But really is just like any other race of beings with a guild board of requests. Different but the same concept." She explains, "He just got a promotion." She adds, "he coming over here now."
They look his way as he is wearing the kit that the society of the damned are required to wear. Especially those in path or have living status.
"Congratulations." She punched his arm playful as he sits down with them, "You made some very peaceful people. Your deeds aren't without witness."
"How do you know?" He snarls.
"She is a high ranker in that society. Although she doesn't tell me how or why." Grandpa gives his grandson a portion of money to us, "It's time you swap. He gets the ring." She nods. Steady her heart and with care, removed the temporary bind. She hands it directly back to her grandpa and ad thier witness they now do a temporary vowl. Her brother outfit changed to that of the military uniform she had. She was the one that didn't chamhe much at all. Her clothes were more like lace dress silk. She smirks as they telepathic connect and get over the shock of being able to trade thoughts. She even is amused of the wavering emotions they both expressed. Enjoying the sweet taste of panic and negative energy.
"Mistress!" Loki shot himself fast to claw her up with love. She as fast caught him and threw the mock bird across the room. She lowered back, as if it was a minor inconvenience.
"Did I hear that right?" Her brother spoke.
"Oh, come on, bro. You are under my protection. You have the title that something like the abyss watcher. That's through me." She gives a soft chuckle, "You did a good job. You made the hidden god of that domain happy. Just walking there to scare away my misbehaving children." Pats his shoulder, "You deed wasn't without reasoning. Here." She slips something out her sleeve, "You wanted it. You can have mine." He looks at the dagger with a frown, "You said something about claws. I was busy, so here. Just don't cut damned or gods. I will have to find their names in the tomes. Not a pretty clean up." He slides it away from him. Back to her. She pouts. Her grandpa take it instead. She smiles.
"Will this cut stone?" Her grandpa asked.
"Sure. I tend carve crystal but sure. Seriously do not cut a shadow or god. I don't want to be summoned for nothing."
"You have a summons?" Her brother asked.
"Yeah." She shurgs, "Anyway. Play nice brother. I have stuff to do. I am sure my old friends will be happy to have me help them. Nice to pop up for a tea break." She stands and reflexive in caught the mock bird in her hand again. It bitting her left hand and spitting slobber all over her. She isn't even reacting about it. There is pale terror in both her brother and grandpa. Even so, the two men got on with things. Even if her brother kept a glance over his shoulder.
"My lady, please this way." A shadow lifted itself from under her feet and it pries the mock bird off her, "We require your attention. Please."
"If this is about the true title of death being devoured, I am going to murder that freak." She walked away, aging older as she steps further. She certainly stopped listening to all these voices talking at her and around. She makes her own trail to where she is needed. The nightmare being takes a bow upon the arrival to the realm most needing of her attention.
The place was rather dull in glance, and with the energy this world carried. This was a realm that was due to collapse inwards soon. She glances over the monster and the Lord of decay, they were totally fine. She sighed in that relief. She steps inspecting corpse here. She makes not of this realm and the way this dead died. She lifted quickly and punched a curtain of reality, spitting out a god eater. With every pet owner does, she began fighting it and prying its jaw open. With some minor scrap, she got the soul back and the pet god eater flees. She studies the soul and drops it back to the husk. Dusted and wipes away the slobber of the god eater.
"Leave it to the kennel master to displine its dogs." The monster purred.
"Shut up K. You have chained souls that you don't displine." She wipes on the monster now and it panicked in fear of the god eater slobber. Leaving the universe fast as possible, "I am very thankful for your time spent with the soul name eater. He one few I had use for. I am sure his enjoying his way of existence. But you must never let your soul be taken by him. He has a bad habit of keeping god names in his stomach. No one is perfect for uses like him." She pats about and than removed a wood carving, "Here, a totem. You can summon his nightmare shape with this. Lord of decay as known as death, you know that there will be soul names he be of use to you. So please make good use of the wayward thing. It only makes us folks of the abyss happy to be a use in the greater machinations of universes like this one."
She pats his shoulder too while the totem is dropped to the bone hand. Death glares upon the now undead corpse and the totem in equal measure. He does his job, removing the dead soul as he should. The shell is now finally dropped empty. She exits back as the way she came. Death takes a god gate to where his needed next. Frowned in deep fears of greater implications. Not impressed of the totem gift.
She eased in enjoying a brisk walk through pocket realms and that she will eclipse onto sigil as needed. She circled herself around to watch her brother and grandpa from the shadows of darkness. Bemused of learning from thier work. She protected them from bad luck, mistakes of paperwork and kept those that hunt humans away. It isn't what she should be doing. But she loved watching her loved ones. Ranking herself was something she can wait to do. If she wanted to, she can provide herself at anytime. But she will not be able to enjoy human things forever. Making the most of the small stuff.
"I haven't seen a god tier demand on these boards in a long time." She heard and melts in sorrow, sure enough the glitched prompt of the floating crystal panel. She didn't even need to guess its read. She looks at how the men spoke heart to heart. She sinks a little in missing out but with the right thing to do. She approached the counter.
"God tier? What fool is playing games now?" She asked the two uniforms folks. They bow, and placed tbe paper to the counter. She checked over the authentication spell craft bindings. Lifting it and lighting her special candle. The flames dance of many a colour as she held it to veiw through the paper. It's definitely authentic and the request is of an old cross over of hers. That isn't the monster just a moment ago. No. She pets the mark of the raven stamp and dream catcher. She puts away the candle properly and reading the request properly. It's wasn't as so dramatic as it could have been. She once worried about such talk of being bitten by God eater. Now god eaters tend to die in the taste of her own blood end tears. She glares most mad of who this request is for, the person wishes no to heal bit to continue to suffer.
"Whimp." She snarls and let's her heart think it over. She is also doing damage to the index with such a grudge. But it was the index she also as mad soul feelings with too. Maybe just having a look at his suffering may bring back her empathy. She doubts her empthy will ever be for the man that hurt her soul.
"So you are looking into taking the request?" She heard in the clattered fear the two bowing guild employees chatter between them.
"I guess I have to. But I don't think I will fulfil this as they wish it. Nor would they want me to fix it. But who knows? Is this on the living realm?" She peers about it.
"The court house in the border." The Brave one states, "They say the wolves shiver at such a thing."
"Mmmm.... yes. My wolves know better." She folds the paper, "considered it taken. But I am sure you have plenty of wannabees to attempt. You should let them." She waved them and softly back among the tables to wait for her brother and grandpa. She sits alone. Picking up a large chunk of crystal clear material from her storage. With two strange tools, she began to chip at it. She thinks of who it will be a gift for, watching it come to shape. She smiles with being impressed with such a finished artwork. Time flexed and her audience shivers now she was aware of them. She particularly smiled to the once sitting across from her. She waited for the cold draft of a dampen soul to brush her again. It was a breath of fresh air in a hot dry desert.
His brim hat hides his expression and his pose of always being ready. He looked like he was relaxing and lazy. He wasn't. She makes one last correction and then cleans away her mess. Especially all these crystal shards and dust. She was about to slip away the finished glass cup when the god rudely perched himself onto the rim. She couldn't help her glare of the rude talon feet on a fine drinking cup. It doesn't budge the god one bit that she glares like this.
"You have my request and clearly can see gods." She studies just how uncomfortable he is of her. She softens to a sad pout. She moved the god off the glass and put it away as Intended. She striaghtes into stretch and then back to a vague business smile. Her eyes were quite vacant, as she was bothering other more important things.
"If this has to do with those folks that nearly killed us. They were why would we bother this request at all. Give us a good reason for why we must entertain such things!" Her brother is the active sort. She posed in being bashful of her brothers heroic commentary. She had slipped a disturbing smile for a moment too, as she could make a sale of some stocks. But this smile was caught and she rethinks about that. She pats him from looking his cool any further.
"The sale of posions is confidential. It above your stations. Both you and the Lord of Omens. You aren't even qualified to handle the creature parts that extraction of substance does have. You couldn't even provide me a purpose to such need to call me out." She tilts, "That's unless one my pets has bothered you recently. You smell of Ragnar. His such a fussy judgemental think. His skeptical nature rivals that of deaths blade. He must have hissed at you about my old friend. He always hated strangers like that freak." She flops her left hand, "No?" She can read his body language quicker then the undertaker can stop himself to, "Then it had to be one my wolves allies. Those who devour the criminals of court. They must have told you about me. That makes sense too." She folds hands to her lap, "I am not forgetting you Lord omens. You are quiet the loud soul. I can hear you hissing at Morpheus. My poor sleepy kitty doesn't need your service. He knows his time to move on is soon. This universe concept of time is difficult for him."
"Lady Marionette, your reputation of many faces seems to get around." Omens hissed.
"Good. I need it." She smile business blank and still a distance look of her eyes. She isn't really interested in having be part of anything here at all.
"Where is your shadow?" The undertaker caught on and she sighed as humans do. She focused on him properly with a pout.
"You had to ask?" She raised a brow, "Young Curiosity, you have so much to learn. If only you know me." She looked pained for that and eased back, "The wound upon the index keeper is my gift. The man has none of my abilities of pity or forgiveness. I would rather rot in hell then to heal and forgive him. Not that the threat of hell satisfies my souls depth." She crossed her arms and with a childish pout, "His just a whimp. He isn't dying. The affect of my wound gift doesn't cause such a issue to a human."
"Ah, that there is part of your issue. The man is part clothus." She stood up from this sudden shock of news. She takes a deep breath and alter her right hand into that of claws. She snatched the air and torn a peice of space, she dove her hand through and in-between tips was a page. She pulled it here and looked down in a angry glare. She stared darkly, cares not in reading it. Cares less of the names she read. She cuts the paper into ribbons and throws it back through the torn space hole. She forceful closed this gap, sewn it shut with tools that appeared as she used them. She calmly sits down... looking sad and mad. She looked at the god in the eyes.
"What? I didn't lie." He hissed.
"It makes sense. I still hate him." She makes her weirdness go away, back into this image of a young lady in fine slip lacing black. She maybe moody but it made her look better, "He can continue to suffer. His punishment isn't of the jurisdiction of the internal laws. No of your command as a god." She speaks fluently Clothus as her hands danced in hating the man. As clothus speak three conversations at the same time, that of words from lips. Gestures of hands. The soul words spoke in eye glances. She has every single part of her discriminate against this man.
"Wait, you know what a clothus is?" Her brother turned to her and she gestures talk of it being rude to interrupt her. The undertaker snickered at that.
"Sorry. Clearly you haven't told them. But even so, your awareness is very important. In your impaction, the wound across his chest was from you. So you would know what poison used." He removed his hat to the table, "Although the request is to heal him. I am here as my monarchs request to ask if you had more. That if we could be supplied of this. A business contract if you will." He now used hand gestures in explaining he wasn't thrilled of the humans that are the tome keepers. 'its nice to meet someone who can speak fluently.'
"Well practiced undertaker. But your eyes need a little work. Speak like a cat." Dhe advises him of other smaller things and explained of clothus laws. She importantly explicitly states her disinterest of break any soul laws. Rather that she properly explains herself as a clothus devourer. Just as there are god eaters. She posed her hand implying she produced her own posions. The undertaker is all stuck frozen to the seat from taking in a ton of conversation at once. She smirks in being amused of his slow thinking and mind translations.
"A devourer of clothus? That's unheard of." The Lord omens hissed, "Why make such a claim lie?"
"No. She hasn't lied." Curiosity huffed and is back to undertakers language, "Leave it to a daughter to have a deep seeded grudge against her blood father. Of course she knows about clothus. She has to be aware of her own nature. I would even suspect you have been afraid of breaking the laws. You wouldn't be granted human existence for any exploitation of such things. This is an universe concept law being bent. Excessive past even my position as a undertaker. But as a god follower, I can understand why you have issues." He folds up in trying to keep him mind from bending in such knowledge of things. He had even felt sickly for it, "And the title the index calls you by is fitting. You are the appendix of displacement and unknown." She looked displease of her soul names mistranslation but further was his use of it. Just that fraction she flared emotions of energy. The undertaker was a fast reaction to avoid it, as such small strong emotions can become curses or spells against spirit people. Gladly she back to being sad then to keep such a mad scowls at the man doing his job.
"The undertaker is here on your business, you can't let your emotions ruin such things." Her grandpa reminds and and held moral reasoning. She softly gives a clothus apology to the undertaker. The undertaker sits back down in being glad to dodge that terrifying damaging energy.
"We will have to discuss business terms another time. I would like your opinion on the lesser business of healing the tome index keeper for now." She doesn't have to say anything. She instead torn the contract request in half, breaking the vows ans curses of the paper. She then ate the paper, sunk through a mask without a mouth. Eating the wasted energy made for pointless deals. She stands all and give a soft courtesy to them. She fast at making a quick turn at the spot and leaving. Her grandpa leaves a business card of his the undertaker before joining. Hand bushed to pull her brother to come with. The three of them making the trip back to the living realm. She makes plenty of small detours in her freedom but arrived among the human realms all the same as everyone else. Sitting by the passage window of the truck, unthrilled of the whole event. Her grandpa started the engine and her brother switched his phone on, reading some messages. She leaned on the window, watching everything as the road slips by. There's a minor hint that they were telepathic talking about food, and when she peers at her brother looking up restaurants nearby. She nods in liking the idea.
