After the Hoejok event was over, Park Ji Eun and Jin Min Ho walked towards their car parked outside the Jjeongmidae Hall. They were still impressed by the enthusiasm of the guests in welcoming the presentation of the New Deal for Housing and Urban Regeneration project they led.
Ji Eun looked pleased to see how her younger brother gave such an impressive presentation.
"Min Ho, you did a great job up there," Ji Eun said with a broad smile on her face.
Min Ho smiled shyly, "Thank you, eonni. I'm glad that everything went smoothly and the guests seemed very enthusiastic about our project."
Ji Eun nodded, "They really appreciate your sincerity in fighting for this project. But, what do you think about the atmosphere among the other heirs?"
Min Ho sighed, "Honestly, I felt a little awkward when I met them. But at least I have given a good presentation and hopefully it can prove that we have the ability to run this project well."
Ji Eun put her hand on Min Ho's shoulder and said, "Don't worry about them, the most important thing is we have to focus on this project and prove to them that we are worthy to lead."
Min Ho smiled at his sister, "Yes, you're right, eonni. We have to work hard and show that Jin Property is indeed worthy of being a government partner in this project."
They entered the car and started driving towards their home. Min Ho felt grateful to have a sister like Ji Eun who always supported him in everything.
"But, eonni," said Min Ho.
"I also saw Soo Jin's face at the event. She looked very surprised when you introduced me as the heir to the Jin family."
Ji Eun looked at Min Ho seriously, "Yes, Soo Jin is afraid of her family's reputation being disturbed by this project. She may try every way to stop this project."
"But we will not back down," Min Ho said firmly.
"You're right," said Ji Eun,
"We must not back down. We must keep moving forward and prove that we have the ability to make this project successful."
They arrived at their home and decided to spend the night there, planning strategies for the New Deal for Housing and Urban Regeneration project. They were sure that they would succeed and prove to everyone that the Jin family deserves to be one of the leaders in South Korea.
"Brother, do you know that there were a lot of beautiful women looking at you at the event earlier?" Ji Eun said with a mischievous smile.
"Don't joke, Eun. You know I'm not interested in that," Min Ho replied, shaking his head.
"Oh, come on. You're still young and now a wealthy man. You should enjoy your freedom before getting married," teased Ji Eun.
"You know that I have been married before, Eun. And it didn't make me happy," Min Ho said with a sad face.
Ji Eun realized that she had touched a sensitive topic and quickly changed the subject.
"Alright, let's talk about our project. What do you think about their response at the Hoejok event earlier?"
Min Ho took a deep breath before answering, "I think it was very positive. Everyone seemed enthusiastic about our project and the plans we've made."
"Yes, exactly. I'm also happy to see many other heirs present at the event. It seems like our family will become stronger and more influential," Ji Eun said with a satisfied smile.
Min Ho nodded in agreement, but there was doubt in his eyes. He felt that there was something yet to be revealed about his family. However, he didn't want to worry his sister with his negative thoughts.
"Let's go to my workspace. I want to show you some designs I've made for our project," Min Ho invited.
They arrived at a spacious and modern workspace. Min Ho opened a presentation that contained building images and sketches for the New Deal for Housing and Urban Regeneration project.
Ji Eun gazed at the images with admiration, "Wow, this is truly spectacular. I love your designs."
Min Ho smiled proudly, "Thank you, Eun. I'm very excited to start this project. I hope we can make a positive change for our community."
Ji Eun nodded, "I'm sure we can do it. We will make the Jin family even bigger and more influential in South Korea."
Once again, Min Ho felt doubt in his heart. He didn't want to be a part of the power and corruption that always happened in the business world of wealthy families in South Korea.
Park Ji Eun was impressed with her brother, Jin Min Ho. She was amazed by his exceptional negotiation and public speaking skills.
"Brother, you're truly amazing. How could you be so confident in your speech earlier?" Ji Eun said admiringly.
Min Ho smiled and answered, "I just prepared myself well and spoke from the heart. That's it."
Jin Min Ho then continued, "But all of this wouldn't happen without your support, Ji Eun. You have helped me prepare good plans and strategies for the New Deal for Housing and Urban Regeneration project."
Ji Eun smiled and nodded. "I'm always ready to help you, brother. We are an inseparable team, aren't we?"
Min Ho shrugged and smiled. "I agree with you, Ji Eun."
Then, Ji Eun suggested that her brother take a rest because they would be visiting Jin Property the next day and would introduce Min Ho as the new director of the company.
"Brother, you need to rest properly. Tomorrow we have to perform well in front of all Jin Property staff and introduce you as the new director of the company," said Ji Eun.
Min Ho nodded and thanked Ji Eun. "Thank you, Ji Eun. I will rest properly tonight. We have to give our best tomorrow."
After that, they decided to have a quick dinner before resting. Park Ji Eun then made sure that her brother was ready to rest comfortably.
"Sister, I will make sure that you are ready to rest comfortably. Don't worry about anything tomorrow," said Ji Eun.
Min Ho smiled and nodded. "Thank you, Ji Eun. You are always so caring about me."
Ji Eun smiled and replied, "Of course, brother. We are family, right?" She then left her brother to rest.
Meanwhile, Min Ho was thinking about their plans for Jin Property and the New Deal for Housing and Urban Regeneration project. He hoped that their plans could take the Jin family and company to a higher level. He pondered and thought about how to carry out his responsibilities well and build good relationships with Jin Property staff.
After a long and tiring day, Min Ho lay in bed and tried to sleep. However, his mind kept turning over everything that had happened in the past two days. He still felt sad about Soo Jin's betrayal, but at the same time, he felt happy knowing that he was the eldest son of the Jin family.
"Everything feels so fast-paced in my life," thought Min Ho to himself.
"I felt like my world was falling apart when Soo Jin asked for a divorce, and now I know that I am the eldest son of the Jin family. But how could this happen? I lived for 25 years without knowing the truth about my own family."
Min Ho felt mixed emotions. He knew that his status as the eldest son of the Jin family would bring him great benefits, but on the other hand, his feelings were still hurt because of Soo Jin's betrayal.
But his thoughts stopped when the door to his room opened and Ji Eun walked in. She looked happy and cheerful.
"Min Ho, I have good news for you!" she said excitedly.
"What news is that?" Min Ho asked, sitting up on the bed.
"I have talked to the entire board of directors, and they have agreed to make you the new director at Jin Property," Ji Eun revealed with enthusiasm.
Min Ho was surprised to hear the news. He felt happy and grateful to God. But on the other hand, he also felt worried and scared because the task he was given was not easy.
"Are you sure I am capable of carrying out that task?" Min Ho asked uncertainly.
"Of course, Min Ho. I have seen your ability in speaking and negotiating, you will definitely succeed in this new position. And I will always support you," Ji Eun said confidently.
Hearing that, Min Ho felt touched. He felt happy to have a sister who cared and supported him. He felt comforted and happy at the same time.
"I am grateful to have a sister like you, Ji Eun. Thank you for helping me and always supporting me," Min Ho said sincerely.
"No need to thank me, Min Ho. We are family, and I will always be there for you," replied Ji Eun with her sweet smile.
Deep down, Min Ho felt happy to have a family who supported him. He knew that his journey ahead would not be easy, but with the help of his family and his abilities, he was confident that he could face all the obstacles and challenges ahead of him.
