Jenner took a deep breath, feeling the wind rushing past him as he continued his climb up the Tower. He had passed the first trial, but he knew there were many more challenges to come.
As he climbed higher, he noticed that the Tower's surface was starting to change. The smooth stone gave way to rough, jagged edges, and he had to be careful not to cut himself on the sharp edges.
Just when he thought he had gotten used to the Tower's shifting nature, he felt the surface beneath him start to shift again. This time, he was ready for it. He clung to the Tower's edge tightly as it twisted and turned, and when it finally settled, he looked up to see the second trial before him.
Before him was a massive chasm, stretching across the Tower's surface. He could see no bottom, only darkness. Jenner hesitated for a moment, his heart pounding in his chest. He had no choice but to cross the chasm if he wanted to continue his climb.
He took a deep breath, stepped back, and then sprinted towards the edge. Just as he reached the edge, he jumped, feeling a rush of adrenaline as he sailed over the chasm. His fingers brushed against the edge of the other side, and he managed to grab hold, pulling himself up to safety.
Jenner grinned, feeling a sense of accomplishment. He had passed the second trial, and he was one step closer to the top.
