Knowing that Vera had awakened, Lion ran over to look at her.
"Vera, have you improved a bit?" Lion looked at Vera lying on the bed, concerned and asked.
"Much better, thanks to Lion Young Master's help!" Vera gritted her teeth and replied.
Lion felt puzzled. Why would she look at him with a mixture of resentment, shyness, and anger in her eyes?
This gaze was definitely not one of appreciation!
Lion murmured to himself, "Women truly possess mysterious and unfathomable qualities!"
"Good, that's good!" Lion said with a smile. "Vera, your condition is quite serious. It may take a week for you to be able to walk on the ground, and a month to fully recover. Rest well, I won't disturb you!"
After saying that, he turned and left.
"Wait a moment!" Vera called out.
Lion turned back and approached. "Vera, is there something else?"
