The reapers and Ziana's friends were greeted by an unusually silent villa, and Lady Winter fervently hoped that everything had gone well. Ziana didn't come out of her room, except for lunch. She even skipped evening tea, leaving the Blackwood family deeply concerned.
"She's been awfully silent," Lilith commented as they gathered around the dining table for dinner. Victor and Andrew exchanged concerned glances, both fretting over Ziana's unusual behavior.
"What did you do to her?" Andrew cautiously asked Damien, who shook his head in bewilderment. All eyes turned to Ziana, who, upon noticing their gaze, simply offered a faint smile before resuming her meal.
"Where is Zayden?" Angelina attempted to start a conversation, trying to alleviate the heavy atmosphere that hung over the table. However, the usual laughter and joy that filled their dinners were notably absent.
