"I think Lady Winter is calling me," Zayden mumbled, swiftly unwrapping his other hand. He tossed the bandage into Yael's lap and took a few steps back, but Ziana clearly wasn't willing to let him escape.
"Stop right there!" Ziana warned, taking a step forward. Her expression clearly conveyed she would strangle him to death today.
Caught between the two, Yael looked left and right in confusion. Had he done something to upset her again? Lady Winter wouldn't be pleased if he messed up her plans. He was pulled from his thoughts when Ziana climbed onto the couch, attempting to catch up with Zayden, but he was already halfway up the stairs.
"I'm gonna kill you today!" Ziana screamed, chasing him up the stairs. Xavier watched the scene, smiling and shaking his head at their childish antics. When his siblings looked at him for an explanation, he clarified.
