Elyon hid a relieved smile when he heard the evil mermaid determined to kill him. At least, his plan to divert attention from Alina and specify to kill him succeeded. Just when the mermaid launched her deadly move, Elyon channeled the remains of his power into Alina's body, causing the pure force within Alina to fluctuate violently.
Alina's soul force soaring high penetrated the horizon, awakening one of the ancient space beasts. It didn't take a second; the space beast descended from the atmosphere and saved Alina from the clutches of the evil mermaid, forcing the mermaid to retreat. Alina and her fellow beast interacted for a moment, and as promised, Alina pretended not to know Elyon's true identity. She could feel the evil mermaid using hearing magic to eavesdrop on their conversation. Only after the mermaid felt sure that no one was able to save Elyon and left the area did Alina act.
