After ensuring Helena had left town, Sir Clove deactivated his soul skill around the kids. Little Sharleen, who saw Paskha getting off the horse carriage, brightened and welcomed her friend home.
"Paskha! You're back! Why didn't you come down earlier?"
Paskha scratched his head awkwardly. "Who was that woman? I heard she made you her disciple?" Paskha distracted Sharleen with another question instead of answering.
"And how did you two meet?" Sir Clove was also curious about the unusual meeting between his sister and Sharleen.
He planned to persuade Helena to teach Sharleen to control her cold poison. The problem was he doubted whether Helena was willing to help the little girl, considering that women didn't like dealing with humans on the mainland.
