The stars in the sky were brighter than ever. The edge of the galaxy was visible and fireflies flew around endlessly. The wind swayed the tall grass and the sound of crickets echoed. It was a cool night, unfortunately most would be spending their time sleeping.
Xia was training her boxing and taekwondo when suddenly, Hasir jolted up from his slumber.
"Holy shit! Don't scare me like that." She told him.
"Uh, I- I umm. Fuck." Hasir stuttered.
"C'mon, spit it out." Xia edged him on.
"Can you help me go to the bathroom?" Hasir asked.
Xia sighed, "Fine." Xia put his arm over her shoulder and she dragged him to the bathroom. She then propped him up and opened the door to leave but heard a loud slam.
"Bitch, my legs are paralyzed! You have to hold he in place!" Hasir told her.
"Ugh, such a fucking baby bro." Xia groaned. She picked him up and held him in place as he peed. After he was done she moved him to the sink and he washed his hands then dried them off. She dragged him back to he room and set him on her bed.
"Also, what you said was wrong." Hasir told her.
"What?"
"I didn't scare you, I startled you. There's a difference." Hasir told her. Xia got really close to his face and grabbed his hair.
"I don't give a shit, now go to sleep." She put her palm on his forehead and pushed him down. She continued to train but Hasir asked, "Aye, do you hear that?"
"Hear what?" Xia asked.
"This." Hasir grabbed his legs and brought them up and farted.
"You disgusting bitch bro."
"Ah ha ha ha!" Hasir hysterically laughed.
The next day, Hasir's legs were better but only by a little. He could walk and that was pretty much it. He couldn't run, jog, or jump. He was basically a senior citizen at that point. Xia didn't need to help him with regular stuff anymore but she still cooked for him.
As the days went by, Hasir got better and better. After a week, he was finally able to perform at his best and was able to use his gun without it hurting him. He was outside stretching when suddenly Xia hit him in the face.
"What the fuck!" He yelled.
"You're at your best, now fight me." Xia told him.
"Okay fine." Hasir began to hop around and his toes and Xia sprinted to him. Overhead right from Xia but Hasir easily dodges it. He weaved under her left arm and caught her by the waist. He stepped in and kicked her feet forward. He picked her up and slammed her into the ground. Xia grabbed him by the hair and slightly kicked him off just enough to leg lock him. She pressured his skull with her thigh and had her left foot intercepting her right knee, stabilizing her hold. While still holding onto his hair with her left, she began to punch and elbow his head. Hasir blocked with his arms and grabbed her shins. He stood up while holding on to her legs and was about to slam her down but she stopped punching and flipped him into the ground. She let go of him but then got him into a rear naked choke while her legs wrapped around his waist.
"It's over bitch. I'm gonna end it here and now-" Hasir punches her in the face and she lets go of him. He stands up and is gasping for air.
"Okay, you win. I don't want to continue."
"Oh c'mon!" Xia cried, "We can go another round!"
"I'm too lazy to fight right now." Hasir told her as he walked inside.
"Oh my fucking god." Xia groaned as she also entered the house. "Why are you so lazy?" She asked him as she sat down on the couch.
"Well, I'm still getting used to a body that isn't disabled. I just now returned to what you call, 'peak condition' and you wanna fight instantly? Nah fam, I need to get used to my old self."
"Ugh." Xia groaned.
"Aye, I will tell you this. You would've beaten me if I didn't escape. Even at my best I don't think I could've beaten you. You have always been stronger than me." Hasir told her. A bird then flew in through the window with a paper tied to its foot and landed next to Xia. Xia took the paper and began reading it.
"Meet me at the fountain in the center of the city at 5 PM." She read aloud.
"Who is it?" Hasir asked.
"Ah, it looks like Trista's handwriting, so probably her." Xia told him.
"Oh okay."
"Do you wanna go?" Xia asked him.
"Sure, got nothing better to do. What time is it now?"
"Umm, it's 4:42" Xia told him. "Get ready."
"Okay."
Hasir put on his dress shirt and the cargo pants because it was the only clothing he had. He put his combat boots on that were also the only shoes he had. He holstered his gun and made sure it was loaded but he put its safety on. They headed downtown and Xia was right, Trista was in fact waiting for them.
"Hey girl!" Trista greeted her.
"What's up?" Xia asked.
"Oh nothing, just wanted to hang out." As the two girls talked, Hasir noticed a weapons smith and walked over. He admired the blades and the sheer amount of work out into them.
"Holy shit, how long did it take you to craft these?" Hasir asked the smith. He wore nothing but thick boots, baggy cargo pants and an apron without a shirt on. He was built but wasn't muscular like Hasir. He had long grey hair that was tied behind his head and his eyes were bright green. His skin was darker probably from being out in the sun, but he also had marks of charcoal all over his arms and pants.
"Well, each one took over a month to complete. I don't even know how the royal knights haven't contacted me, but hopefully they will soon." The weapons smith told him.
"Oh, bro. I'm friends with a royal knight, maybe she can get you recommended." Hasir told him.
"Really? That would be awesome! My name is Garret by the way." He said as he held out his hand.
"My name is Hasir." They shook hands and began to talk about what they did and just became friends.
"Hey, wait a minute." Xia suddenly said.
"What is it?" Trista asked.
"Where is that fucker?" Xia scanned the area and then he spotted him talking to Garret. "There he is!"
"And so, I'm just recovering from the venom right now. If I can roll up my sleeves, you can see where it scratched me." He was about to roll up his sleeves but Xia grabbed him.
"You idiot! Don't go wandering off like that when you can't even run properly yet." Xia told him.
"Cool, Garret this is the royal knight friend I was talking about. She can probably get you recommendations for the royal knights." Hasir told him.
"Oh, hi!" Garret waved while smiling.
"Hi." Xia happily waved back but then got in Hasir's face, "You listen up dumbass. What would happen if you got hurt again? I don't have the materials to help you anymore. Be more cautious you fucker. Let's go." Xia then dragged him away.
"Cya Garret!" Hasir cries as he is taken away.
"Bye!" Garret cries back. The two of them catch back up with Trista who is waiting for them in front of a jewelry shop.
"Oh you're back, where was he?" Trista asked.
"He was talking to some weapons smith." Xia told her.
"Aye, don't disrespect my boy Garrett's craft like that. That man has worked his ass off without even being recognized by the royal knights. I just wanted to help someone who genuinely cared about their work, unlike someone." Hasir said.
"Oh Garret? I've seen him around before. He's one of my brother's friends. They always hang out with each other when they don't have work." Trista told them.
"Really? What does your brother do again?" Xia asked.
"Oh, he's a nurse." Trista told her.
"Oh yeah, I saw him while getting a checkup once." Xia remembered.
"Yeah, he's smart academically but in the real world, he isn't all that."
"This fucker is just like that but not really." Xia says as she points to Hasir, "He's academically smart, well, he should be because I taught him. But where he really shines is in his fights. He just fucking finds a way to beat his opponent. He really uses everything to his advantage."
"Wait, has he ever fought you?" Trista asked.
"Literally right before I got your message we were fighting." Xia told her.
"Oh dear, who won?" Trista asked curiously.
"I did, but it was easier because he isn't fully recovered-" She is then cutoff by Hasir.
"This bitch fucking attacked me when I was stretching. Literally after a day I began walking again, she jumped me. She got me in a choke hold and everything. She is the one person that I haven't been able to find any weaknesses to exploit other than past trauma and shit. But then if I do that she'll just become even more dangerous. It's really fucking annoying to fight her too. She fucking grapples onto you and does these fucking crazy ass moves that you can't keep up with. Oh, and she's a fucking southpaw!" Hasir rambled on.
"Wow, he really was pent up." Trista said.
"Yeah, he really has a wide range of vocabulary though he never seems to use it unless it's something formal." Xia told her.
"Well c'mon, lemme show you where my fiance got me the ring."
"Oh yeah! You said something about that like last week." They walk into the shop and to the left is the counter with hundreds of jewels that cost well into the thousands. The walls were littered with necklaces, rings, watches, and many different extravagant accessories.
"Ight, I'm gonna head out." Hasir said as he headed for the door.
"And where do you think you're going?" Xia asked him.
"I- uh, I have some business to attend to with someone." Hasir stuttered.
"Yeah, business in the city that you left for a month and have only stayed for a few weeks." They stared at each other intensely, well mostly Xia did. "Ah, go on. Carry out your business."
"Yay!" Hasir cheered happily while trying to run but knelt down in exhaustion and took a few seconds to get back up and leave the store.
"He's like a child y'know." Trista commented.
"Yeah, I know. That's the frustrating part. I have to take care of him because of his injuries and then he just leaves for like months. Also, that man is 23 and doesn't know how to do basic magic."
"Well, he was a slave most of his life so you can't blame him." Trista told her.
"Yeah, I know. I just don't want him to get hurt while doing his stupid shenanigans. He's probably doing something stupid right now."
As Hasir walked up to Garret they fist bumped and Hasir could finally show him his scar.
"Look you see?" He rolled up his sleeves and there was a large puncture wound covered by a massive scab with purple stringing from it. "I also have this from Xia, the woman that dragged me away." He pushed his hair out of the way and showed him the right ride of his face which was covered with different small scratches. But there was a very prominent brown and purple bruise on his right cheek.
"How did that happen?" Garret asked.
"Well, she slammed my head into the ground and proceeded to pound my face into the earth."
"Oh crap, why?" He asked.
"Well, that is classified. But I will say this, she cannot hold her anger in. Well, this bruise was completely my fault but in other instances, she just goes mad and hits me. Like bro, there could be a tree, a wall, or anything she could take her anger out on, but instead she takes it out on me." Hasir rambled.
"Damn, sounds like a toxic relationship."
"Not a relationship, just very good friends that would do anything and everything to each other. She definitely likes me though. I'm just saying, I've seen many girls look at me and then gossip with their friends." Hasir told him.
"Nice, you are one sexy mother fucker though." Garret complimented him.
"I know right? Xia should be grateful that I even hang around her."
"Grateful?" Xia suddenly said from behind him.
"Holy shit!" Hasir cries.
"Grateful of what? All you bring me is trouble. And also, hanging around me? Mother fucker, you stay for like a day then leave for weeks. This is the first time I've actually been able to spend time since last year."
"Well, you still should be grateful I haven't left your toxic ass." Hasir reaches his hand out to Garret and they dap each other up.
"Garret, have your grades been getting any better?" Trista asked him.
"Yeah, Shawn has really been helping me!"
"Okay, good."
"C'mon let's go back to my house." Xia says as she walks away. Trista and Hasir follow her with Hasir being in the back. Hasir looks back at Garret and does a little dance signalling that he was getting girls.
"Yo! You go G!" Garret yells.
"Go what?" Xia asks and turns around to see what stupid shit Hasir was doing and stops walking. Hasir jumped around hyping himself up with Garret cheering him on. He finally turns and is met with Xia's cold gaze with Trista running from the scene back to the house.
"So, what were you dancing for?" Xia asked him.
"I was just hyping myself up y'know?" Hasir told her.
"Yeah I know, but why? What were you guys hyping up for?" Xia asked again.
"Oh it's nothing, let's just go." Hasir and Xia then catch up to Trista who is already at the door. Xia unlocks it and they go inside. The girls talk with each other while Hasir drops into Xia's bed because he doesn't have one nor does he want to sleep on the couch. He closes his eyes and very quickly falls asleep.
When he woke up, it was pitch black. There was something heavy on his waist but he couldn't make out what it was. He created a ball of fire in his palm to light up the area and saw that Xia was sitting on him.
"Woah, uhh, can you get off?" Hasir requested.
"No." Xia quickly answered him.
"Fuck, I'm sorry for sleeping on your bed okay? You guys were on the couch and I didn't want to disturb you so I slept here."
"Oh, this isn't about that." Xia told him.
"Then what is it about?" Hasir asked.
"Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?" She asked while grabbing his jaw.
"No but can you please stop?" He looked around to see what was happening and saw a bottle of alcohol on the kitchen table. "Fuck." He said softly.
"Fuck we will." Xia then said abruptly.
"Woah! Um, Xia, I don't think this is really a good idea." He said while trying to get up but Xia pushed him down and extinguished his flame.
"Just shut up and take it. Oh, you've kept me waiting long enough. I have an excuse now. 'Oh I was drunk,' that's what I'll say if anyone asks. C'mon Hasir, just accept it. You were gonna lose it eventually." Xia got extremely close to Hasir's face but Hasir pushed her up and began to breathe after holding his breath for so long.
"Oh you dirty dog. You wanna do that huh? I can play rough, c'mon, I saw the way you reacted when I slapped you after you got scratched. You like it don't you?" Xia holds his hands in place with one arm and begins to feel him up with the other.
"This is sexual assault you know. If this goes any further, it is classified as rape." Hasir warned her.
"Like you would say anything about this. But don't worry, I'll make sure to fuck you up hard enough. Fuck you up to the point where you can't even speak anymore."
"This isn't good for my recovery and you know that. If this continues, I won't be able to use my legs ever again." Hasir told her.
"Oh I know, but this is only once. Plus, if that does happen, which I'll make sure it doesn't, it still favors me. Then I would be able to do whatever I want to you."
"Sadistic bitch!" Hasir writhes around trying to escape but is pinned down by Xia.
"Shut the fuck up." She holds her hand onto his mouth, "Don't worry, I want you to be able to use your legs properly. It makes it more fun when you are gonna try to run or fight back against me."
"See, you are a sadistic bitch." Hasir said.
"And you enjoy this so you're my little masochistic slut!" Xia cried as she held onto his neck and began to sensually kiss him. After a few seconds, Hasir managed to push her away.
"Fuck..." Hasir was breathing heavily and his face was bright red.
"Oh yeah, that was your first actual kiss wasn't it?" Xia asked. Hasir simply nodded.
"Yeah, now let's lose those pants." Xia told him but Hasir stopped her.
"Wait! Don't you have protection?" He asked.
"Oh, I would but this is my first time too." She pulled off his pants and underwear to reveal his genitalia.
"You have an erection." She told him.
"Yeah because you're fucking pinning me down and you have no shirt on!" Hasir still tried to fight back but nothing worked.
"Oh well, let's get to it."
