It wasn't long before they had hooked up the saquus to the carriage and they were off. Jay and Kason took the opportunity to shift and run guard while Misty was content in the carriage. Surprisingly, she expected to be thrown around to some extent, but the ride was very smooth. It's not like Tamult had a lot of mechanical engineering but she shouldn't have been worried. What they lacked there was made up with magical alternatives. The smooth ride to the carriage was one of the ways that it was used.
As they moved down the road, Misty stared out the window in excitement. The road to Dinmar was a lot more populated than the places that she had been so far. Though the path was still little more than hard packed earth, there were settlements here and there along the way.
