10000ft below the surface there is a place full of out cast rejected by society and viewed as nothing but slaves and something to possess. . But deeper down at the bottom of the ocean floor a female octopus Just gave birth to 400,000 eggs and one of them is an anomaly. An anomaly that may or may not disrupt this worlds entire reality and structure

Where am I, why can't I see anything, and why is it so warm and tight? And how am I still alive? I could've sworn I died, the last thing I remembered was......And so the confused soul kept reliving his life until he was finally free from his egg.

My name is Thomas Diggs. I was a black man that traveled the world and went through many adversities and challenges. The beginning of my life is where all the fun, regrets and adventures took place. But when I got older I became a marine biologist that specialized in jellyfish and octopuses. And any mollusk-like species. I then took it even further and started experimenting with them trying to replicate their ability to regrow limbs and implement that into human species.
But when I tried to combine the DNA of the blue ringed octopus with the Turritopsis dohrnii Jellyfish( An immortal jellyfish that can regress to the age of a baby when their life is in danger) which I named Jikken, . After a while I was successfully able to combine the DNA. And with Jikken going through the rebirth process repeatedly he was able to sustain his memory from his past lives, becoming aware of continuous experiments conducted on him. Which caused him to bear resentment towards me and one day he escaped his enclosure and killed me while I was sleeping. This was also the day I injected the synchronization serum within my body causing me to die a quicker death.
Now I'm in an unknown space hatching out of an egg to live out a new and fulfilling life. When I finally escaped my shell I realized that I'm not human anymore. I had eight tentacles resembling that of an octopus. I'm also extremely tiny, around the size of a rock at the bottom of the ocean. somewhere about the size of a moderately sized pebble. So for the next few days I ate plankton, small fish and plants.…I know what you're wondering how am I able to find food when it's pitch black at the bottom of the ocean. It's through this thing radial symmetry which allows me to sense food as well as any danger coming my way from any direction. And with my human arms being too small to eat with, my tentacles move on their own to feed me and give me nourishment. It also seems that I have two mouths, a human mouth and a mouth at the base of my tentacles around the back and hip area. And both are connected to my stomach through different tubes.

A few months pass by and I finally get to the size of a human toddler. Now I can finally eat things with my human mouth and grab things with my hands. which is weird and something I thought I would never have to think about.
Now since I'm about the size of a toddler I decided to up to the surface. But before that I made sure I was aware of everything I was capable of. Which came instinctively but I still wanted to familiarize myself with my new skills and abilities.
It turns out it was easier than I imagined. but throughout the process I a wondered why nothing ever attacked me or reacted to me in any way. It was because I would Just camouflage myself and blend into the environment.
I had also figured out how to use my ink which I could mix with my toxin. I could also secrete toxins and grow suctions through my hands and fingers. This all took around a week but I used the whole month to really solidify the foundations. I even brainstormed how I would make myself blend into the world as a human. So I would camouflage my tentacles as the same pigment as my body or clothes.

As I made my way up to the surface it was uneventful and peaceful. Than when I got around 1000m from the surface for the first time in this life I saw a glimpse of sunlight. I couldn't quite make out what was in front of me yet. So I picked up the pace and sped up to the surface with everything I had. And when I finally reached it was Nothing but water.
...….No Land,.....No Boats… No movement….....Just water...….. plain..... still water .....After wallowing in despair and confusion. I decided to follow a random ocean current. To try to find a reminiscence of anything, whether that be land, rafts. Boats, or anything living. And for what felt like days of swimming I finally came across an Island with humongous tree groves.
So I make my way towards the island and I see bubbles just floating about in the air, with people inside of them. I'm still cautious about actually being on the island so I'm just observing from the shore swimming on the edges of the island. To my surprise seems to be very normal for people to Just walk around with weapons. I see people with swords around their waist and guns in their hands. But I ignore that and find my way to the docks and I find an amassment of ships that are unnaturally huge.

After about an hour observing the island which I found out it was actually an archipelago. Than I finally decided to explore the island, And my first stop was going to be a restaurant. 'It Felt like forever since the last time I had some actual food'. But since I have no money my only option was to beg or steal it. Me being the resourceful man I am, I chose to beg. With my cute toddler like features I was bound to get a hardy meal.
One of the things that surprised me most was how all the signs of all the stores and restaurants were written in English but everyone spoke in Japanese. I went and found this one restaurant that looked like it served mainly breakfast with a two story dining area and found the perfect victim.
It was a couple that looked to be enjoying their morning meal. The man reading the newspaper while discussing with the woman about whatever. And just as the waitress comes with their food I m walked up to the girl . Once I tap the lady on her leg and the woman says, " oh look John he is so adorable I think he wants some of our food". She then lifts me up and puts me on her lap.
"Hey little guy do you have a name". I say nothing and begin stuffing my face with eggs, fish and whatever else was on her plate. "looks like he was hungry, .. gegegege". Then I see a newspaper lying on the table and I go to read it the headlines states, " HERO OF THE MARINES, VICE ADMIRAL GARP FINALLY BRINGS AN END TO THE INFAMOUS ROCKS D. XEBEC ".
