Derek and Jason looked at the cracked marbles that rapidly changed numbers. The atmosphere was turning tense, as this would decide the last attacker of this match. In some sense, it wasn't that important since only two remained.
Jason couldn't use his skip as the one who got attacked because his marble was 1 point away from breaking. There wasn't a number 0 in the marble.
The barkeeper cleaned glasses with a rag while throwing glances towards the table, where one young man and three old men sat. He knew they were playing some kind of game, but he had no idea what kind.
