I am Nagato Nawfi. Today is Valentine's Day. It doesn't matter to me but this year is special. Because today I will propose to my childhood friend. Our parents were school friends so, she and I have been together since middle school. She was my first friend and crush. I was always bullied at school and she always came for me. I love her so much. I'm too scared to tell her. If she misunderstands our friendship breaks.
"Hey! Man.. why are you so gloomy today?" A spiky-haired boy said and slapped Nawfi on the back, "I mean, you seem gloomier than usual "
"Kenji-kun!!" He replied, "No, it's nothing."
"Huh!…Nothing? Kenji smiled, "But Almus already told me that you're going to propose to your childhood sweetheart today."
"I see, he told you " he forced himself to smile, "it's good for you."
"Listen, we're all single. So no need to be sad." Kenji said proudly, "It always happens to people like us. "
"Are you encouraging me or discouraging me?"
"Why should I discourage you?" Kenji replied suspiciously, "I would never."
"Hmm..by the way, why so early today?"
"I have some important work to do, that's why I'm early" Kenji smiled menacingly.
"Yes, I see." He answered and realized what Kenji was after.
"Well then…I have to go now." Kenji smiled and left, "Don't worry. If you got rejected I'll kick your ass and if you got accepted I'll punch you in the face. Good luck."

Students are talking and laughing in the classroom.
"Hey did you hear, the boy from Class C1 Yasuharu asked out the girl from Class A2 Saori "

One of the girls glanced at Nawfi.
The teacher entered the classroom and everyone took their seats.
The bell rang,
and the students were left for PE class.
"Oh..no..I forgot to bring my PE dress. Do any of you guys have an extra one?"
"I think, I have a spare one in my locker, you can borrow it."
"Thank you!! Minato kun" the boy hugged him tightly, "you are my best friend."
"Hey! Stay away" Minato growled, "You're creeping me out."

Nawfi did not respond.
"Let's go, PE class is about to start," Almus added,
Boys changing room,
"Nawfi!…I'm going, you come quickly and don't be late" Almus changed and left.
"I'm very nervous." While changing Nawfi said to himself, "What do I do now?"
He let out a deep breath and left for PE.
Some boys were shouting at someone. Three boys were bullying one boy.
"Didn't I ask you to come?" The boy angrily charged the bullied boy caller, "Why didn't you come?"
"The teacher called me, so I couldn't come"
"What!!!… You're making excuses now. How dare you disobey me?" The boy got angry and punched the bullied boy in the face, "You f*cker!!!… SMAK!!…."
"Hey!! If you want to fight, I'm your man, not that brat."Kenji said,
"Oh..ho! We found a lion among the rats." The boy said,
"Nawfi!.. bring Shugo to the nurse's office. I'll tell the teacher."Kenji grinned menacingly, "I've some business here, you can go now."
"Thank you, Kenji kun."Shugo said sadly, "Sorry to cause any more trouble."
"Thank Nawfi… he called me just in time." Kenji looked at Shugo and smiled, "And that's no trouble, it's my favorite thing ."
"Yes… I know." Shugo smiled softly,
"Huh!… How long do I have to wait."the boy said with a menacing smile. "Or else I'll play with those two mice."
"Kenji Kun, I'm leaving." Nawfi said, "Let's go, Shugo-kun."
"Then bring it on, you bitch!" Kenji said,
"I'm already on it."
In the Nurse's office,
"Are you alright, Shugo kun?"
"I'm fine now." Shugo replied with a sad face, "Sorry about earlier, Nagato kun."
"What are you sorry for??" Nawfi replied, "That's what friends do, right?"
"You consider me a friend and always help me," Shugo said. "But I've never been of any use to you and only caused trouble for you guys."
"Shougo kun! Do you remember the first time we met" Nawfi said looking outside, "You were the one who saved me back then..for that I am forever grateful to you."
"Then I did nothing!"
"No, you did" Nawfi smiled, "I was getting beaten up by some boys from other schools. I got beaten up less because of you…hahaha"
"Now, you are making fun of me."
"No. I'm not making fun of you… really "
"huh!..okay, fine "
"That means you forgive me."
"Why are you apologizing?" Shugo looked at Nawfi suspiciously, "Wait.. Don't tell me?" You are making fun of me. "
