TOME 10 PART 92; ZEA-LOSS-I-SM
DAGARA PROVERB;
Students, repeat after me...Zealossism. Zea-loss-i-sm...a concept that describes a Military Man who is a total Zealot for the cause of a Nation...until his Zea-loss-i-sm...is considered a liability by those he is sworn to Protect.
EXAMPLE;
1. Jason Bourne; Bourne Ultimatum
2. Rambo; First Blood.
3. Eraser; -Arnold Schwarzeneggar.
4. Total Recall; -Arnold Shwarzeneggar.
5. Hard To Kill; -Steven Seagal.
CONCEPT;
Any Soldier brave enough to Parachute into enemy territory should not base his strategies on assumptions of Rescue once he is cornered. Once you get that...your abandonment does not become a hack into your own head.
Every Soldier should know he is sworn to protect the 'State' and not necessarily the 'Government'. Governments come and go...the State will outlive the Government. It is the 'Chair' of The 'President' you must protect...not necessarily the 'President'. You only protect the President for as long as he is 'Loyal to the Chair'. If you have to choose between 'blocking a bullet shot at the 'President' and a bullet shot at the 'Chair' and I mean 'the Wooden Sofa Couch'...any logical sensible soldier knows the 'Choice' to make...Protect the Chair obviously....Mr President...it was an honour serving you.
You should not blame the man who gives away the position of the Military to the Enemy...any General stupid enough to fail to consider that such things happen on the Battlefield and if that one had not done that...another would eventually have taken his place...is an idiot. It is what you do after that happens that determines whether you are a Sensible General or an Idiot.
When you enter a Dungeon...never be stupid enough to factor your Strategies around what a Guest Character who joins your Party will do...only idiots do that. Your Strategy for Victory should be as independent of the Guest Character in direct proportion to his tendency to disregard orders...yet...do not consider him a Stranger to your Party...that way you are immune to Unpleasant Surprises.
