TOME 10 PART 27; THE VIRTUE OF CONSTANCY
Constancy is the Root Of Many Virtues.
SECURITY IS ROOTED IN CONSTANCY
The Concept Of Security is rooted in Constancy. The Assurance that the attitude of those around us whom we love will not change with the Passage Of Time and changes in Circumstance. This is the reason one can feel secure. The Opposite/Inconsistency is the Root Of Insecurity; does one feel safe in a House whose Pillars can collapse at any time? We can feel secure in the Gods precisely because we know they do not change.
TRUST AND INTEGRITY ARE ROOTED IN CONSTANCY
Trust and Integrity are also Rooted in Constancy and revolve around the belief that those around us will always be 'true to their nature' and will not do anything 'counter to their true nature'. As such we can be secure that they will always react to certain events both good and bad in ways we expect and will not spring unpleasant surprises on us.
(There is a bad aspect to this as well in the sense that enemies can utilize one's tendencies as a means of manipulation but let us not dive too deep into that Rabbit Hole).
Since we can 'trust' in those we 'cherish', we do not necessarily have to be 'paranoid' about their 'reactions' and 'constantly monitor their actions'. This very 'act' is an expression of 'mistrust'.
ARCHITECTURE
The Virtue Of Constancy exists also in Architecture in the sense that 'One has confidence in their Shelter precisely because they can be certain the Foundations and Supporting Pillars cannot easily be moved'.
ENGINEERING, LOGIC AND MATH
The Virtue Of Constancy here is that Universal Laws cannot be easily altered by the Whims Of Circumstances. Without basic constant Universal Laws, who could trust even more complex equations.
NAVIGATION AND ASTRONOMY
The Virtue here is that the Magnetic Poles Of The Earth remain Constant and so does the Movement Of The Moon around the Earth and Earth around the Sun as well as the Position Of The Stars and Constellations. You wouldn't be able to Navigate the Oceans if the Stars moved out of their Positions at every Whim of theirs.
CONCLUSION;
Humans can only feel secure when they place their 'Trust' in something that is 'Immutably Constant', this is the beginning of 'Security'. Fortunately, there is nothing more constant than 'Truth' which defines 'Reality'.
