There is no place for useless people in this world. And Luvi, even though he considered himself to be one of those useless people, he still believed the same.
And Seeker's inaptitude and inaction to make something out of the given opportunity disappointed him.
Same was true for Radworm, but like Nightmare, she was also young. Not to mention, Luvi has noticed a kind of innocence in her speech patterns.
Which is why he was a lot lighter in tone when talking to her. Knowing that she might be as young as Nightmare. He treated her kindly and helped her set up a direction for her group.
And to his surprise, feeling apologetic, Radworm has gone on to expose her own identity as well as the kinds of other kids she has been collecting in her group.
'All of them are children of major superheroes in America?'
Being Indian himself, Luvi was not so knowledgeable about the hero scene in america.
Because, this is not the comics days. Even small countries have their own heroes and if one were to start keeping track of all these heroes, they might just go crazy.
Though, being the company that was the first to issue the superhero license enmasse, they were still the one leading the superhero world. And from what Dana told him, it would seem that she had attracted a lot of important children in her group.
'Hmm.'
Which was advantageous to Luvi.
Dana herself was the daughter of one of the strongest superheroes in america. A man considered Immortal due to his indestructible physique.
If Luvi were to play his cards right, he can influence that old man through his daughter easily. And same can be applied for other future superhero prospects.
In a way, Radworm wielded too much power and influence that came from her family. But due to her age as well as inexperience with the world. She didn't know how to use it properly.
DreamMachine: Are your friends aware of your affiliation with us?
Radworm: No, they are a bit of a blabbermouth. So I didn't say it. All they know is that I am in some secret group.
Talking with her a bit more Luvi understood that most of Radworm's friends considered it a game and nothing more. And some of them are also not useful, as Radworms has said. They were a bit of blabbermouth.
Which is also a kind way of saying that they were a snitch.
But this was to be expected of young children. They were useless for now. But in a few years when they mentally mature, there might be a chance for using them properly.
Not to mention, Luvi has his tentacles in most sectors. With the only one remaining is the superhero sector which is the hardest to enter due to its many rules and regulations placed to filter out dangerous and unstable individuals.
Meaning, that even though Radworm hasn't achieved much on her own. Her identity, along with her connections might come handy in the future.
Her leading a group filled with children of other superhero will give her enough political power to sway the opinion of the superhero community as a whole when time arises.
DreamMachine: Don't tell them anything about our group and say that you were just larping. Let them be ignorant of their affiliation and when they show potential, add them to your group.
DreamMachine: In the future, you will be heading the superhero department of our group, though only you will be aware of the connection between us and them. The superheroes are too gullible anyways, so they might just believe it.
From Luvi's understanding, most superhero were simple creatures when they converse with people they trust. Meaning, if Radworm plays her cards right, she can lead them to do Luvi's bidding without them even knowing this fact.
Though, all of this depends on whether Radworm can take control of the leadership. And considering she is an internet worm, that kind of charisma was impossible for her to possess.
But like Luvi started to leave the comfort of his room to practice, Radworm has to leave her room and become more outgoing.
And Luvi was not talking solely about her online talks with her friends.
Though, Radworm can't help but complain.
Radworm: "But why so much… aren't things fine just the way they are. Who knows if the people's whose dream you saw never come here. And even if they did, they might be friendly."
She asked a question which many in the group never asked.
And answered it was also a bit hard.
What kind fo excuses Luvi can even make here?
For a girl that had lived in luxury and seen most of the world through a computer screen, she might be unaware of the reality that normal people go through everyday.
Even if she sees a child dying of hunger on the internet. It's still through a screen and due to her lack of experiences due to her protected childhood, she might not be able to be empathic toward certain things.
So it was no wonder, even though this girl had seen so much of the world through the internet, she still thought there might be good in the other people or civilization, whose dreams DreamMachine had read.
Radworm: "I don't think anyone would want a war. Even during the last world war, barely anyone did. And most of it was the result of bad communication."
Luvi laughed at this line.
He really did.
'This is really a child.'
Luvi: "Well… Just treat it as a preparation in case something bad happens. Imagine if there is a H*tler like the person on the other side. We can't know. Its better to be prepared."
There was no need to give a history lesson to a child that would forget it anyways. Nor was there a need to change her beliefs so early in her life.
Let her enjoy the last two years of peace and quite like everyone deserves.
While making her work through a method that would be a perfect driving force for her.
'Well, American's really love as well as hate the name H*tler.'
And as Luvi expected, using that name really made Radworm or Dana understand what was at stake here.
*****
Money is useless when it stays in a bank account.
So Luvi did the best thing he could and bought a large piece of land in Siberia after using FIX's connections as well as the name of Wulfers.
An area that was known to only few people in the world and the natural coldness of Siberia would also help in storing the serums as well as servers easily in the place without any additional energy needed to keep the place cool.
And this place would also become home to Aoto and Lev, who were homeless as well as looking for a way to be useful.
As for the security, it was entirely handled by FIX and her drones.
"Each of these drones costs millions." Lev came alone to check up on the area and saw the army of drones that FIX had summoned.
'These alone would exceed the money we earned at auction.'
Lev didn't know how deep FIX's pockets were. But in his heart, he did fear FIX a lot.
On the other hand, Aoto was confused over one thing.
"But how can I make the serum alone in that facility? It might be a big place and even safe. But that doesn't mean I alone can create enough for the whole world, as per the plan."
Aoto's question was just.
There was no way to make the serum all alone on a large scale. And considering what has happened in the past. He can't trust or depend on others to make serum for him.
FIX, through one of the drones, asked a question.
"Isn't most of the process that is involved here manual and can be automated? The only problem is the last spell which can be done in large scale as your mana pool increases… Or am I missing something?"
"Concocting drugs is not so simple. We have to check the quality of the herbs and materials, check the temperature, be ready for any changes in the concoction, and manually adjust the temperature quantity as well as quality along with the time. Which needs constant observation from a human. A machine can be programmed to do set numbers of things. But it can't replace this human element."
If it were the normal medicines, things might be automated. There, its the same process developed with a proper SOP(Standard Operating Procedure) in mind. But developing an SOP is impossible without trial and error. Which becomes harder due to the volatile nature of the erbs and materials used in this case.
Which might cause massive changes to end product if not dealt with properly.
The reason being, a person in here is not only dealing with the material itself. But the energy that flows in it as well.
Increasing the parameters one has to be aware of.
And putting it all on a singular person is close to torturing them.
Though Luvi, who was hearing all of this from the side, asked one thing.
DreamMachine: "Does it really have to be humans?"
FIX: Are you talking about Robots?... They might be able to do some things, But training their AI would take a lot of time.
Combat is easy, but training an AI to do something like dancing is very hard.
And here, they were talking about concocting magical drugs.
Aoto also agreed with FIX for a bit. But in his belief, even a trained AI be able to replace a human element.
Not for at least the next 20 years at least.
The ability and need to sense the amount of mana radiation in a material is one of the most important steps that can't be done through robots. And if there are robots capable of achieving it, they might be super expensive to even use for something so small like this.
It would be a total loss.
DreamMachine: No, nothing so cold.
DreamMachine: Just so you know, your ability to talk with animals would be coming in handy a lot this time.
On the other side of the screen Luvi laughed, as he sent one file to Aoto that would change Aoto's life forever.
