Chapter 41 - JNIA 1.16.2 StarHusky

It's been a few days since Andy became the poster child for hard work and the training manuals.

Soon after, he obtained his very own hunter license. Of course, it was not a permanent one and they require an extensive test before being given out. But that was enough for Andy.

He was now at the center of attention and being showered with opportunities that he can only dream about just a few weeks ago.

And he understood that if not for the training manuals that were given freely to the world, he would be nothing, so he did his best to promote it when he had the time. Making him a lot busier than before, which made his meetups with Luvi a lot less.

Of course, there were some who hadn't forgotten about him. But they can't do anything in the current situations.

On the other hand, there was the academy. An order came from the above and it was mandatory to learn the training methods and spells for all the students.

It was added to the curriculum and some mandatory classes were also being set up for those that fell behind and wished to learn more.

Though the biggest problem remained that even the teachers were ignorant when it came to training manuals, spells and combat arts.

So it was more of a group exchange where those more adept at a particular technique would share their experience and it might take a few years before there are people actually capable enough to teach these to the new generation.

But this is their fate for being the first generation to learn about this.

They have to do all of it on their own with only little help from those around them.

Of course, this in turn made the teachers and students a lot busier, making Luvi's life easier in the process.

Even teacher Daarun started to give him less attention as the students started coming to him with different questions about the practice methods.

In the school, due to his background. Even though he didn't practice it, Daarun was adept at most CQC combat styles which even included the knife.

So beside the heavy weapons are swords or spears. He helped a lot of other children interested in other combat styles.

But this is what Luvi wanted.

He can even practice without worry most of the time.

Yes, just most of the time. Few classes still remained a pain in the ass for him.

No… it was just one.

"Get your ass moving… "

Bhuvesh's class remained a bit the same. Even though he was busy with the three movement arts that Luvi had released not so long ago. His work was still way low in comparison and most students were focused on learning combat arts.

So rarely did anyone bother to come and ask him about movement arts which he claims to have mastered.

And Luvi knew he was not lying.

Bhuvesh had shown his skills to the students without hiding anything and he really did learn one of the movement techniques that Luvi had released.

Which was named, Snake escape art.

A technique really useful for those with light bodies, but impossible for someone with Luvi's size and stature to learn.

Build is important while learning any skills in the knight system. The mages can ignore their physique, but the knights can't.

But due to the attention that Luvi got from this teacher, he was forced to learn an incompatible technique and fail while trying to mimic the movements.

He can't even retort or give his own suggestion. Because Luvi understood that it would be a foolish endeavor to talk back to a teacher like Bhuvesh.

He also didn't have any proof to back up his claims because the whole world was discovering the techniques on their own, so having future knowledge like this would make him stand out a bit too much.

*****

After being free of the torture from Bhuvesh's class, Luvi was back in his room and sweating profusely.

Say what you want to say about Bhuvesh, but his class really did a number on Luvi every time.

He was losing fat at a fast pace while seeing a high increase in his endurance. So he can't complain about that man's methods.

Instead, he focused his mind on other things.

The situation with Aoto sounded odd from the surface and he was not ignorant about the part that FIX played in all of this.

It was FIX herself that explained what she did. But she didn't expose the true nature of her actions and how they forced Aoto in a corner and made him choose.

All Luvi knew was that FIX just helped Aoto deal with some nuisance before all hell broke loose.

But even that was not the main issue here.

FIX just showed too much of his might.

'A gold hunter at least.'

This is the conclusion that Luvi came up with.

The attack of drones was all over the media a week ago. The people questioned the Japanese government and in turn they questioned Fuji pharmaceuticals. Which then exposed the true strength of the attack in this way.

Of course, no one outright said it. But from the description, Luvi understood that if only drones of FIX were capable of causing that much mayhem, then what is the real body like.

'Technomancers man!!'

He even wondered if the mage mental technique might already be in practice by FIX, considering the resources he might have access to.

'FIX probably knows who I am as well… I wonder why he hasn't moved yet.' Luvi wondered, but he didn't show any of it on his face. If FIX chose to ignore his identity and act oblivious of her actions.

Then Luvi can do the same.

Both choose to act ignorant about each other and learn the true intentions of the other party.

It was why Luvi had started to slowly abandon his reliance on FIX these days, while giving more focus on the furry member of their group, even though it disgusted him a bit.

'But none of it matters, the truth might be out sooner than later. I should learn something worthwhile, instead of the basic ones I have learned till now.'

And this is what Luvi has been doing these few days, while managing his minions and being up to date with their operations. Ignoring the Forbidden chapter filled with dangerous techniques, Luvi picked a simple combat art that would be most advantageous for him during this time of his life.

"Let's start with the sense training once again."

What was most important in a real battle?

Strength?

Ability?

Weapons?

Nakama(Friends)?

No, none of it was that important. The most important is situational awareness and being aware of your opponent's position all the time.

This kind of battle awareness is usually learned through experience alon. But with all the techniques in Luvi's hand, he easily found a technique that met his needs and came under an auxiliary technique by the name of Feline Senses.

A simple name for an absurd technique which boasted to increase the situational awareness which uses, nose, ears and even the vibrations on the ground to feed the user appropriate information about the surroundings.

And when Alone, Luvi had been practicing this technique more than his fist techniques recently.

He can already feel he was close to becoming a white star hunter himself. But he can't achieve it through his fist and body training technique alone.

Something was holding him back.

And it was none other than his own senses which had rusted after being cooped up in his home all this time.

Being a white star is not always about strength, its the growth of an individual on a biological level. And to achieve such growth, all parts of a human body need to be in sync.

Lev Novikov, born to a russian Hitman lived a pitiful life.

Due to his father's job, he lost his mother whilst he was young and had to change places a lot after the enemies of his father kept coming to find him. And each time this happened, death would follow soon after.

And not long before, that death came for Lev's father, which in turn made Lev all alone in the world and a perfect prey to those that still wish to exact their revenge on Lev's father.

That was until the Mafia came forward and adopted him in their gang.

It turns out, one of his father's old associates has made big in the underworld and now worked directly for some big man.

Seeing the pitiful state of his friend's child, he threw a helping hand, but not for free.

Just like his father, Lev was forced to pick a gun and earn his protection.

Being a hitman in this world filled with awakened people was not easy.

But he did his work as he was told, killed as he was told and torture as he was told.

And when the day was over, Lev opened the only solace he had, the only thing that put a smile on his face and gave him an illusion of freedom.

It was an old laptop with a broken camera. Here he took part in hobbies he so loved and even picked up a persona, which helped him dissociate with reality.

And the name he chose for this persona was also pretty bizarre.
