"I don't care who it is inside, if you can't let me get in. Take this money and get me some mango juice." Luvi said it straight without any shame or fear of the man in front of him.
He knew that if this man wanted, he could annihilate him in a matter of seconds. Because even though he looked dangerous to those around him, he was a nerdy guy without any strength.
"Just back off and wait. He will come out and give autographics then. It's better to not disturb him."
So the Bodyguard just pushed him a little and warned.
He had seen many like this fat guy, putting on excuses to get closer to his employer.
"Look here 'Uncle'... this is my regular place, most shops are not open at the moment and I am too fat and poor to go any far. So either you get me the drink I asked so I can fuck off, or you move away." Luvi's mouth had soured after the man pushed him back. So there was some frustration written all over his face.
"Just wait it out kid, it's also a lot better if you stay away from those packaged fruit drinks and eat actual fruits. My employer will also not take that long."
Considering the reasoning the young boy in front of him provided, the bodyguard suggested. He was also not in the mood to beat up some kid this early in the morning.
Nor did he wish to disturb his master by following the words of this young man and entering the shop where his employer was having a chat.
Though, the gate suddenly opened and a voice came.
"What is going on… who is this?" A manly voice came from a man from the bodyguard's back.
The man was handsome with dark hair and blue eyes, while his skin shined with sunny luster. He truly looked like someone out of the world.
It was also Luvi's most hated kind of person.
'A 1st tier normie.'
This was Luvi's rating of normie hood. There were 3 tiers in it.
3rd being the normal normie, 2nd being a normie with a girlfriend or boyfriend and then comes the 1st.
A normie is so beautiful and charismatic that he or she doesn't have to do much in their life to achieve greatness and love by other people.
"Nothing Sir Luth, he was just a student that wanted to buy some drinks from this shop." The bodyguard explained while calling out to Luvi. "Don't block the way and get to the side."
"Ok ok! I thought this guy was going to stay there for hours." Seeing that there would be not much need of drama, Luvi chose to move away to the side.
Looking around, he also noticed there were a lot of eyes on him, though that still can't compare to the eyes of young girls that were on Triptan who had a weak smile on his face.
'Fucking normie.'
"Huh? Kuluvi, isn't it?"
Though a voice he hasn't heard in a long time called out to him, making him turn his head. "Yes Rose, Kuluvi… anything else?" Luvi said in an aloof voice, holding no desire to talk to her much.
"So it really is you…" The girl had red hair just like her mother used to have and a couple of freckles on her cheeks. She was also someone that used to be close to Luvi when he was young. Though things changed and Luvi changed as well.
"Someone you know?" Triptan, who saw this small exchange, smiled as he asked. He was eyeing this weird man that seemed to come here for his soft drinks.
Though it didn't seem his intentions were as pure as he claimed previously.
"No one you should be concerned about. He used to be an old friend of mine. Nothing more."
Hearing the "nothing more" part Luvi's eyes shined for a bit. 'The way she said it almost makes it seem like we used to be something in the past. Hehe!!'
Luvi had a small smile in his heart as he listened to Rose's description of him. But he didn't dare to say much. He already knew what was coming.
"Ah, past tense, so I see he is not a friend anymore?" Triptan said with a small smile, then looking at Luvi's getup, he continued. "And I can see why."
Triptan said it in a condescending but low voice that only Luvi can hear.
But Luvi just smiled. "Mister Triptan, I see you and my old friend seem a bit busy. But can you move a bit away? I want to get something from that shop." Lack of respect, that was showered from Luvi's face.
He never feared anyone, he was a trashy guy through and through, so he didn't even give much face to a hunter of Triptn's caliber.
And why should he?
It's not like Triptan was a lot older than him. He only had a 2 year advantage over him and can still be considered a greenhorn.
Even if he is active in the dungeons, it doesn't mean he is not a student anymore.
"Let's go, he is not someone we should waste our time with." Rose said, intending to go away from this place.
"Of course, my bad for disturbing your 'precious' time."
After giving way to Luvi, Triptan got busy with taking selfies and giving out autographics, while Rose had long entered the academy again.
As for Luvi, he silently bought a carton of mango juice from the shop and left for his room.
This time, there was no one in his way and he easily went back to his room.
Though he failed to notice, Triptan , who was leaving the area, silently spoke to his bodyguard. "Find out all about him, I am curious about this old friend of Rose."
*****
"Hah, that B-word takes me for a fool."
"Wanna release your jealous normie boyfriend on me, huh?"
The little exchange he had with Rose and her boyfriend, Luvi might look like a dumb fool on surface, but his EQ was a lot higher than many might think.
It was why he was able to survive life the way he did, scaring or disgusting normies while showing a strong front in front of those that might attempt to harm him.
His high EQ helped him read the situation and emotions of people around him. It was why he turned out the way he did.
He could see the disappointment and mockery in people that were closer to him after his talent blossomed, including his own family. Even though they kept their best to hide it from him.
This was why Luvi built up three rules for himself.
No matter whether they are praises or mockery, never let yourself be swayed by it.
Always be shameless and have no bottomline.
And never ever have any expectations.
These rules were the core belief that Luvi lived by.
These three rules helped Luvi develop a perfect armor around him.
'Hah! that jealous boyfriend will probably try to learn about him, then give up after he finds the way I live.'
Luvi laughed at the situation.
It was one of the reasons he never tried to hide or act low key.
Let the world know what kind of human being he was, so the more people know, the more they would stop caring about trash like him.
Though whether that trash will remain a trash forever was another matter.
"I should restart my practice."
One shouldn't look down on the Fundamental technique because of how weak it was.
There were no aspects it excelled at, nor did it cause any mutations inside the body of the practitioner. Which made it very easy for people to convert to a higher rank technique once they have mastered the Fundamental Strengthening technique.
Practicing this method doesn't mean one will be mediocre forever. Even if it was practiced by common soldiers, there will always be those that stand out from the bunch.
And if one can practice this technique to peak body training or the Qi training among the immortals before the age of 20, they are eligible for higher ran techniques.
So even though Luvi hated how weak this technique was, at least there was a chance he could learn a new and powerful technique later in future.
"The problem is focus, I can't do both at the same time since I started. Focus on one thing first."
Luvi also found the problem with his practice after just one session. "I should increase my control over mana while I diet for a few days."
He abandoned the physical exercise for now, he can't properly move like it was depicted in the graph. So its better to get a bit thinner and dextrous before he plans anything ahead.
And while he is fasting, its better to use that time to make some more money and increase his control over mana.
"Imma climb stairs 10 times a day from now on."
Luvi made a commitment.
A commitment that he would break on the second day, cus he fell from the stairs and broke his ankle.
If not for Andy hearing his cries and coming to help him. He might have stayed there for a while.
