At 05.00 pm Monterey Mexico time, Ferdinand said goodbye to leave the hotel. He walked towards the elevator accompanied by Irina who occasionally glanced at him strangely. Of course, it surprised him.
"I promise tomorrow afternoon will come back," said Ferdinand.
"Why did you leave when my parents were here?" asked Irina disappointedly.
Ferdinand stopped in front of the elevator door then positioned himself opposite Irina and cup her cheek, looking at her intensely.
"I'm also not like this but I have to," he said sadly. "I want to spend time with your parents... I want to show that I can be a good son-in-law even though I'm not rich... But this time I really can't leave this task because I'm afraid of being fired, especially since my boss is have given me a lot of money that us all this time...I don't want to disappoint him," he continued.
