Chapter 189 - Man's hope

Author's POV.

Bryan walked nursing the room which looked very dimly lit and then entered his room and saw Lawrence who was packing. in silence, he felt guilty, and at a loss for his behavior, and was suddenly afraid that his wife would divorce him.

"Are you leaving?" he asked.

Lawrence just kept silent, still putting important things into the suitcase that was on the bed.

Bryan sighed. "I'm sorry ... I know I was wrong...."

"Then shut up!" Lawrence exclaimed curtly. "Don't say anything, I'm sick of even hearing your voice, anything about you..."

"Is that why you left?" he asked.

"Of course, I'm leaving, this isn't my house anymore!" Lawrence answered firmly, then took something out of a drawer. "I will go, and I will return when I attend our divorce trial. I have asked my lawyer to take care of all that, so you just wait for a summons from the court," she continued.
