Amanda could feel a pair of dark eyes scrutinizing her as she quickly prepared the drink. In another few minutes, the girl was already walking towards the mystery boy with a tray in her hands. "Here you go sir."
The man smiled nodding his head as he looked at the tall glass, filled with red cocktail. "So, what is your name?"
"Amanda Mathew... Sir." She smiled as the man took a sip of the drink.
"Nice name Amanda.... So, for how long have you been working here. How come I have not seen a beautiful face like you before?" He smirked looking in her big blue eyes.
"Well... it has been around 5 months now. I used to earlier work as a waitress in Royal Plaza hotel, but after there business got totally shut, they had to lay me off. So, now I work here." Amanda was about to leave, not wanting to talk much with a customer but the man seemed more than interested in talking to her.
"I am Adam. Nice to meet you Amanda. The drink is fabulous." He smiled taking another sip from the glass, yet looking directly in the girl's eyes.
"Nice to meet you too sir." Amanda felt a little more intimidated by his piercing gaze. The man was not even blinking, while constantly making an eye contact. She pursed her lips, setting her hair a bit, trying to break the eye contact.
She had just turned to walk away, when he spoke up again. "I have to talk to you Amanda, if you give me two minutes."
She frowned a bit and yet again turned to look at him. She had a constant smile on her face, as she had no option but to behave polietly with the bar customer. "Sure sir, tell me."
"Please have a seat." He signalled the girl to sit, next to him.
"I am sorry, but I am not allowed to do that." She nodded her head in disapproval and turned to look at her boss, who was yet eyeing her from a distance.
"It is alright. He cannot say anything, as long as I am here. He dare not say anything." The man spoke in a challanging manner, looking at the girl stubbornly.
The helpless girl sighed and then seated herself next to the man, looking at his face. Yet again, she was blown away by his good looks, where as the man could not take off his eyes from her gorgeous face. "Yes sir? Tell me please."
"Hmm... So you clearly are in dire need of money and I want to give you a good deal." The man took another sip of the drink smiling at her.
"Deal? What kind of deal?" The girl frowned as she looked at the man in a little doubtful manner. "I might be poor, but I have my ethics and I do not...."
"Hey! Hey! Hold it right there!" The man raised his hands in his defense, looking at the girl in much surprise. "Atleast listen to me, before assuming anything."
Amanda pursed her lips and looked at him in an apologetic manner. "I am sorry, it's just that I am alone and several people in the bar come and try to flirt... so... I... just..."
"It is alright. I understand. So here is the deal.... have you seen the mansion at the topmost point of the west hill?" The man pointed outside the window towards a gigantic hill, at one corner of the city, on top of which a colossal mansion was situated.
