…
Calculating the time, it's been a little over three months since she's woken up in this world. Everyday she's spent nurturing her body and training to enter Beast Barrow Forest. Even though she is only staying in the periphery she would rather be safe than sorry so that's why she had pushed entering the forest back a bit.
In these three months she's managed to get back to a healthy weight and no longer looks like something a necromancer would summon. She has been buying any supplies she could have needed and visited with Nestia whenever she had time.
Her and Nestia ended up having a lot in common despite the oddity of it all, and Shiyanna quite enjoys having her around. She already notified her newfound friend of the absence and of course Nestia disagreed and wanted to come along with Shiyanna.
Of Course, that wasn't going to happen due to Nestia's school term starting and she can't afford the repercussions of her not attending classes.
Sad, Nestia said her goodbyes and stuffed a space artifact filled with all types of cute outfits and odds into Shiyanna's pocket and refused to take it back.
…
Looking around her cabin Shiyanna packed everything into her space ring, leaving nothing sentimental behind. Before leaving Shiyanna attached a special lock, she had commissioned to be made that will obscure the eyes of anyone looking in its direction.
Although this cabin may not be worth breaking into, she doesn't want anyone desecrating her home or grandma V's grave. If she could take everything with her but that isn't currently possible.
After setting a bundle of forget-me-nots on top of grandma's grave, Shiyanna headed down a long-forgotten path and headed towards her new home for the next half a year. Her original goal was to test her level but that's really secondary to her right now.
Unless she's attacked, she doesn't want to just pull a random victim into the ThunderDome. Imagine working hard all day to provide for your family and some random bald thing with weird fur pulls you into a death match. The one thing Shiyanna despises with a passion is being forced against her will and that's exactly what she would be doing if she were to do that.
Shiyanna may not be able to control how others act but she can sure as hell control how she acts. She despises the thought of doing anything like that again. Unless she has to, she wants to go through this life without gaining unnecessary enemies.
Her main goal is to find any clues or any material she can use to make space artifacts. The market for buying those materials is on lock and key and extremely difficult to purchase. While observing the artifacts she currently has, Shiyanna noticed that each one varies in the way the space is stretched. The low grade one she came across the particles are spaced far apart so if you were to place food inside it would go bad and spoil.
The opposite was observed with the better-quality ring in her possession. So, what she wants to do is try making her first space artifact and try not killing herself in the process.

Looking around Beast Barrow truly is a beautiful forest. There are rumors that this forest is connected to all to all reaches in some form. One could spend their whole mortal life in the forest and never make it to the other side, so imagine the resources hidden within.
Shiyanna spent the morning walking about ten miles and hasn't seen another soul. If what she read is correct, then the outer perimeter won't end until the ten-thousand-mile marker and she doesn't plan on going any deeper than 100 to 200 miles in during this excursion. Walking a little further she reached a small opening next to a babbling brook and decided to set up a rest area and have lunch.
Walking around she grabbed any fallen lumber to build a small fire to cook and heat some water. Throwing some vegetables into the sizzling pan with herbs and spices she began working her magic. Within the blink of an eye, she had already plated her food and began devouring her lunch.
Since there was still plenty of daytime left Shiyanna decided to look around to see if she could find anything interesting.
Cleaning up the fire she headed into the brush with no direction in mind. Along the way she picked up a variety of low-level herbs and vegetation. She also picked up some nice pieces of wood she can use to practice with.
Hearing a ruckus up ahead Shiyanna paused in her tracts and listened. Deciding to be nosy she sneaked up and found a place to hide and see what was going on. Looking through the leaves she could see a young man, a snake battling up ahead. Both the snake and man appeared to be extremely injured. The snake appeared to be guarding a fruit of some sort but from this distance she couldn't see what.
The man seeing as he was at his wits end escaped with his life, sensing the man had truly left the snake collapsed. Seeing as the snake was unable to move, Shiyanna moved from her hiding spot to get a better look.
The fruit was round and emitted a sweet aroma, it appeared to be ripe and wasn't too damaged during the fight. Glancing over she could see the snake looking at her with furious pleading eyes. Shiyanna didn't recognize the fruit, so she wasn't planning on eating it, looking into the small crack she noticed it had many seeds, so she pulled out some small tongs and took a couple to later examine. Notating the characteristics of the fruit she placed the fruit into a preserving bag and brought her attention back to the snake.
It appeared to still have life in it but it was still immobile. Looking around at the blood she decided to help give it a chance since she took some seeds. Quickly removing the blood from the snake, she took out a cart to drag the snake on. Making sure to remove her traces, she moved the terrified snake to a safer area and offloaded it into some underbrush.
Applying some healing medicine she had brought to the wounds she tried her best to comfort the snake.
"I'm not sure if you can understand me but I don't really care because I'm going to help you anyway." waving the bag in front of its face she continued.
"Since I took some of your seeds, consider it repayment. I have placed it into this bag that can help preserve the freshness of plants and fruit."
Patting its head she placed the bag near its head and continued to apply the medicine and wrapped its wounds. Sitting with the snake for around an hour she saw it perking up, so she saw that as her cue to leave. Leaving her snaky patient with a roast chicken she headed on her way.
