Chapter 1 - ~CH.0~

"You staying over tonight Momoro?" I asked. Hopefully he can stay over tonight!

"Sorry man." he replied.

I was a bit let down."Again!" I groaned. He was always making excuses and skipping out boys only gaming night.

"How come?" I asked expecting him to say that he had to go grocery shopping or that he was tired or some other lame excuse. The excuses were always more or less the same. Can't you at least try to make it sound ligit!

"I promised Minami that I would take the family out today." I guess that's understandable since Christmas is right around the corner. I had to give it to him, but for once he actually had a genuine reason (whether he was being serious or just fibbing).

I can't lie though, I was a bit let down still even though it was expected.

"Fine, I will let you of the hook this time as long as you promise that you'll free your schedule for our next gaming night." I compromised. "Ok, promise!" he affirmed. This also means that I'll have to write up a Christmas special.I sighed as I contemplated my busy itinerary for the coming days.I sighed in dismay. It not like I had anything better to do for christmas anyway. As he spit on his shoes and was about to head out, I said to him,

"Have a good evening and send my best wishes for the upcoming holiday!" I tried to mask my disappointment.I think he caught on as he bid me farewell with a mildly from expression on his face. "Don't worry, I'll be fine!" I lied, forcing a small grin to my face.I turned away and he was gone.Little did I know at the time that that would be our last ever boys night together!
