Roman's eyes seemed to widen a fraction at my explanation, but I could have imagined it.
He remained silent for a long while, his expression unreadable as the wheels in his mind whirred, probably trying to make sense of all I'd just told him, before he finally spoke.
"So, that's why you passed out earlier? Because of your autoimmune condition?" He asked and I hitched my shoulders in a contemplative shrug.
"I'm pretty sure that was the result of a nervous-break-down that has been due to happen from the minute I joined this school," I laughed lightly, trying to ease the tension I was starting to feel from all the seriousness in the air. "But yeah, I think it definitely was also triggered by my ITP."
Roman nodded slowly in understanding as he fell into silence again. His expression remained unreadable, and my heart strangely hammered against my chest in weird anticipation.
I wondered what he thought about all I had just told him.
