The sweet melody of the bard singing with a flute playing in symphony was very therapeutic to me. My mind was more focused on the music playing than on the dancing crowd or their endless mumblings. 

I wasn't even paying any attention to my dad hushing whispering to Zechariah, his right hand man and beta, which I admit now that I should have.

The guests here were mostly warriors and high ranking army officials but my uncle was nowhere to be seen.

Today was the Hunter's Moon feast and was a very joyous day, who would have known it was soon going to turn into a bloodbath and a day of terror.

The grand doors were pulled open, and my uncle Dyroth walked in, filling the air with tension and confusion.
