Chapter 18 - Base, Magnificent Courtyard

"Two hours…"

Leon muttered with a dazed expression as he sat on a bench. His mobile was in his hand, which showed many missed calls going to the same person.

"What the hell are they doing?" Leon frowned and picked up his phone before calling Agatha again.

They were supposed to meet at this city's peripheral park before leaving with him to the SlayerBreak guild's base.

But Agatha and Arankar were two hours late!

"Sorry, professor!"

Leon saw his call cut off and heard Agatha's energetic shout as she exited the car after parking it nearby.

"Seriously?! It's been past two hours," Leon grunted, but then he noticed Arankar and frowned. "What happened to him?"

Arankar was walking like a sloth but more tired as he was utterly exhausted and sucked dry by Agatha.

His physical body had just C-rank parameters, so he was not a match for peak legendary-rank Agatha in a stamina competition.

Meanwhile, Agatha had a rosy and energetic expression on her face. She was practically radiating.

"Nothing, I am just tired," Arankar said with a deadpan expression. "Let's get going."

Saying that, he entered Professor Leon's car in the backseat.

Agatha wondered why Arankar was not speaking, but she didn't disturb him since she really sucked him dry and enjoyed herself to the fullest.

'Oh my!! Is this his low-energy mood swing? That's so cute!'

"As you can see, Arankar experienced something exhausting this morning as he went overboard in his training, so I had no choice but to delay our meet-up," Agatha said apologetically, with a sincere expression.

"Can we get going already?" Arankar said as he popped his head out of the window. His expression deadpan, his eyes dead-fish.

"Sigh... Let's go," Leon said after a big sign before entering the driver's seat. 'This mother-son duo is exhausting as hell.'

Meanwhile, Agatha entered the backseat beside Arankar.

Leon was speechless. 'Why sit back when your son is tired? He could get a nap back there.'

'Screw it.'

Leon pressed the paddle and blasted it at top gear shortly.

"Professor, please don't hurry. Give me ten minutes so I can use a massage art to nourish my son," Agatha said apologetically with a sad smile. "He made a mistake during training which messed up his blood flow and all, making him very exhausted and dispirited."

"Bu-"

"It wouldn't be good if he went to your prestige guild base like this, right?"

"Fine, fine, whatever. Ten minutes, right?" Leon said before turning to the front and releasing a big sigh.

"Thank you, Professor. Let's have dinner together someday," Agatha said with a smile before she waved her hand and put up a reflection screen between them to prevent Leon from seeing or hearing anything.

"My cute baby~ Why are you so down? Come on, lie down here," Agatha said as she coddled and caressed Arankar's cheek before putting his head on her lap.

Arankar's cheeks were puffed, his eyes droopy and exhausted as he turned his head away from her.

"Sowwy, here, I can bring you back to spirit right now," Agatha said with a mischievous smile as she pulled up her upper leather vest before unbuttoning her shirt and blouse.

Arankar turned his head up, saw those two juicy titties and his eyes shined. Still exhausted, he grabbed one with his hand and slightly brought it down before sucking like a baby with closed eyes.

"I'll drink this every time I am exhausted."

After ten minutes, they arrived at a town that led to a mountain, which continued to the base of the SlayerBase guild, the ultra-aesthetic and luxurious mountain town, Radhan!

"This place is pleasing to look at and live in," Arankar said with shining eyes as he admired the creativity of all structures.

"Mom, it was a good choice to propose the condition to live in the VIP area of this mountain town. It's sure going to be good."

"He really became energetic from that exhausted state," Leon muttered. 'She must have used a gentle massage art on his head to nourish his body and mind.'

Leon's guess was normal because a level 500 using a healing skill on a level 1 would have adverse effects due to the vast power gap. Even that simple healing skill from a level 500 person would have thousands of times more refined and more potent mana, which can easily overpower the fragile body of a level 1 kid.

It would result in an instant body or heart explosion.

But things were different for people at level 501 and onwards since Legendary-rank powerhouses with a healing skill could reduce the potency of their mana when casting skills or using any other powers, allowing them to heal mortal-rank people effectively.

The trio soon went to the middle of the mountain and entered Registration Hall.

After Leon finished Arankar's and Agatha's registration, he brought them further high up before arriving in a beautiful courtyard with a pond, a traditional pavilion to live in.

The pavilion was big with much empty lawn ground, a small bridge over the pond, and a riverbank at one side. Moreover, a beautiful array of trees and flowers was spread in the courtyard, making it more pleasing with the constant fresh air coming at this height of the mountain.

There were even two huts near the pond with a dining table and a cooking toolbox for a barbecue or any sort of dinner, breakfast, lunch.

"This is your new house, as per your condition," Leon said with a wry smile.

"There are still two more," Agatha said with a foxy smile.

Leon could swear he saw a fox tail behind her as she spoke.

"I'll arrange them tomorrow because I am already two hours late for my work. I already gave you the schedule, and someone will also come here to pick up Arankar soon. Bye.

Leon said his piece and left.
