Chapter 3 - Overwhelmed King, Unfortunate Party

King Arankar vanished, but he didn't go too far.

He wanted to experience new things, so he teleported to the nearest human population from Mt. Everest and arrived at a small town at the mountain base.

He reduced himself to an average human constitution, becoming a man in his early thirties with shoulder-length black hair. He wore a professional long coat outfit with a black hat that he quickly found in his vision and felt suited to him.

Nobody in the town realized that there was an extra person among them.

"Lively," uttered King Arankar with glowing eyes as he set foot on a street and saw humans in all sorts of actions, a sight he had never seen before but was ubiquitous for civilized races.

People were walking, talking, laughing, eating at stalls, somewhere fighting in bars, some doing xoxo in bathrooms or bed, and all such common everyday things.

But all of that overwhelmed King Arankar with joy and excitement.

'I must not go on like this. No, I can't end it fast…' King Arankar thought, becoming extremely somber. A second later, he decided on a plan and vanished.

Somewhere near the giant chain of mountain Everest, King Arankar appeared and sat down on top of a big stone, cross-legged and eyes closed.

Nearby, a giant mountain bear felt a jolt in its soul and woke up from its long slumber.

It was a twenty meters tall bear when it stood up on its legs and roared!

And unfortunately, just at the wall of this mountain area was a cave; inside were humans who went to explore it for a dungeon entrance.

"Shit! How come it woke up?"

"We are screwed, we are screwed! That's a damn level 243 Chilling Berserk Bear!"

"Shut up, Martin! Everyone, stop speaking and calm the fuck down!"

The group consisted of six people, four men, and two women.

The leader was a shoulder-lengthed red-haired woman in her early thirties, slim and sexy with a fair light brown skin tone and deep almond eyes!

Her name was Agatha Raven.

Occupation: Hunter.

Level: 194.

Class: Combat Mage.

She was a mighty and rising hunter of Divine Thunder Guild situated in southeast Asia's Rudrax City.

The two middle-aged men in the group were barely a few levels above 100 and were the weakest in the party; Martin and Ramon.

"B-But why did it wake up now? It was slumbering for many days," said Lucas, stammering a bit.

Lucas was the second strongest of the party despite being the youngest. At 27, he had crossed level 150 as a hunter in swordsman class, Rising Rookie of UnitedSmash Guild.

The remaining two of the group were a couple in their late thirties, Milo and Rose, and were slightly below level 150.

All of them were from different guilds, but in Adventure Hubs, people could team up randomly for small quests, which was how this team formed.

While exploring this place this morning, Agatha had found a dungeon reading pulse and decided to make a quick team at the Everest Adventure Hub; this hub was a diversly designed town filled with only adventurers from various races and hunters of guilds.

King Arankar would've gone there if he didn't seek the normal human town first. And if he had gone there, he would've been even more overwhelmed with excitement.

But good thing that he inadvertently saved everything for later, as in, for his plan!

The roaring bear also disturbed Arankar, so he opened his eyes and glanced at it, sensing the presence of others along with the Bear upon using his divine sense.

'Humans again? They seem distressed that this Bear woke up.'

The Chilling Berserk Bear looked around in irritation and annoyance.

It wanted to eat something since it woke up from its slumber, and soon, it spotted Arankar.

*Growl!*

Large drools started oozing out of the Bear's mouth upon seeing Arankar and sensing his aura!

It was so pure, potent, and refined in the Bear's eyes and senses that its deep, wild instincts told it that eating this being would result in ultimate evolution!

It snapped, roared, and charged!

*Roar!!*

This terrible roar that caused avalanches and vibrations to spread everywhere scared the living soul out of Agatha and her group!

The cave was trembling violently, and the rocks were starting to fall!

"We will get buried! Get out, quick!"

Agatha shouted with desperation and quickly ran towards the exit.

They had already entered thirty meters inside the mountain's cave but couldn't stay there longer when the dungeon entrance was still not visible.

On the other hand, Arankar was amused by the bear.

In his world, no creature, spirit, or god consciousnesses dared to look at him with anything other than reverent.

But this creature dared to challenge him, and he found it mood-lifting for a change.
