"My bad…"
Kira slightly blushed as she quickly put away her weapon and returned to her normal long skirt dress. "You must be Arankar, right?"
"Yep," Arankar nodded with a light laugh. "Are you Alice's master?"
"Mhmm," Kira nodded before focusing on the TV as she sat back on the couch. "Miss Agatha and Alice went to buy something. They'll return soon."
…
After Agatha and Alice returned and finished preparing the feast and a dining table, one more person arrived.
Tomoe Yami!
"Are you really Alice's mother?" Agatha curiously asked.
"I didn't give birth to her, but I am indeed her mother," Tomoe said with a loving smile as she looked at Kira.
Kira slurped on the juice and took a spicy meatball.
"Hehe, Master Kira is shy and doesn't usually speak much," Alice giggled.
Kira's cheeks turned slightly pink, but her expression was plain as before.
Suddenly, everyone felt ripples of wind and sound before they saw Senior Jing flying down into their courtyard.
"I hope I am not disturbing you all," Jing said with a polite smile.
"Of course not, Silent Death Jing," Agahta said with a smile. "It's my pleasure to meet you."
'Bitch. Look at how you changed,' Agatha internally cursed upon seeing Jing. She looked more beautiful than fifteen years ago, despite being in her forties at the moment.
Jing was one of the original party members with Daha, meaning she was on Agatha's revenge list.
"Please take a seat with us to eat if you haven't eaten yet," Arankar said with a smile.
"I'll do that since I have to inform everyone here of some matters," Jing said before sitting on an empty chair at the dining table.
"By the way, I thought you would go into that palace to get that weapon," Jign said as she looked at Tomoe.
Tomoe shook her head.
"I don't use a hammer much. But what brings you here?" she asked.
"We have made some changes. I am the supervisor of Arankar's party, and Kira will be transferred to his party since we have one less member."
"I see. When are we leaving?" Tomoe asked after a nod.
"After an hour," Jing answered before she tasted a dish and nodded. "Delicious."
…
An hour later, Arankar, Kira, and Tomoe left on Jing's call and arrived at a private flying ship base of SlayerBreak guild at another mountain's base, two kilometers away from SlayerBreak's guild base.
There were two parties, their supervisors, and Jing was present since Jing called them last.
Erina, Luna, and Ekin had also arrived and stood behind Jing.
They didn't stay for chit-chat as everyone entered the big flying ship that was a hundred meters long and thirty meters wide.
It was a luxurious oceanic ship with four wings, making it a flying ship that ran via magic formation and mana.
After entering the ship, the rookies were placed in a hall while instructors sat in another room behind the control room.
The journey was not that long. After two hours, everyone arrived at a vast town on a grassy plain.
The number of other races was higher in this town because just five meters away from it was a giant bridge portal that led to Evertale World.
The SlayerBreak guild's flying ship landed near the portal as all parties would go on a small adventure of fifteen days in Evertale because it was a way bigger world than their planet Earth and the best starting place for rookies.
The bridge portal of Evertale was more advanced because people could choose where to teleport from the seven options it gave when they passed through it. Those seven options were seven continents of the Evertale world, but each of that continents was bigger than planet Earth.
Senior Jing told all rookies to select a region called Laxion before everyone entered the bridge portal.
…
After arriving in Laxion Region, the parties separated and went to town in different directions.
Jing and Arankar's party went to Lynx town on Tomoe's air-ship, which was faster and more advanced as a tier-4 Legendary-grade vehicle.
"We'll go to the Adventurer's guild of this town and get information about a suitable dungeon," Jing said while rookies walked behind her.
"This town really screams isekai," Ekin muttered as he saw pedestrians of various races while moving into the town.
"Arankar."
Arankar looked back at Senior Tomoe walking at their rear and responded, "Yes?"
"If you can get performance better than Kira in the dungeon, I'll give you pointers on weapons," Tomoe said with a faint smile.
Jing told her about Arankar and decided to show him her mastery of weapons if he could perform better than Kira.
"I am looking forward to that," Arankar said as a grin crept on his face.
'Is she really the daughter of Senior Tomoe?' Erina wondered as she glanced at Kira, who quietly walked between her and Arankar.
Soon, they arrived at the adventurer's guild, and they attracted many men's attention because of the five beauties in the group. Arankar was the target of female glances due to his lean and handsome physique.
They sat at an empty table in the last hall of the adventurer's guild as Jing said, "You five go and choose a dungeon that you think you can survive in. That board lists all dungeons that were refreshed or opened today.
"And from now on, we will only observe you, and we'll only speak and give advice when we deem them necessary," Tomoe added. "However, you can ask general questions."
Arankar and the others eagerly nodded before standing up as they walked towards the Dungeon Board.
"Let's pick a dungeon with a broader range of monsters. Since I know it's possible to reach level 50 fairly quickly, I want to achieve that goal today," Erina said.
"Sounds good. Let's do that," Arankar nodded with a smile.
"I'm in," Ekin grinned.
After they arrived at the big board, they stood with many other young adventurers who were looking at the same board's section that displayed low-level dungeons.
"This is so advanced," Ekin muttered as he looked at the board. "It even shows the countdown before the dungeon refreshes. Damn, It's like MMO games."
"This dungeon seems perfect for us," Luna said as she spotted a dungeon, "Mortal-grade dungeon, Deep Rooted Cave."
Erina nodded. "The Elite tag beside any grade of dungeon indicates that it contains challenging monsters and dangers, but we will also progress faster."
"I am fine with it," Ekin said before turning to Arankar. "What do you say?"
"Let's go with that," Arankar nodded.
