Erin was sitting on the sofa wearing his grey pants and white shirt with the eagle logo sewn on the pocket, while he kept looking at the person in front of him with narrowed eyes.
"I was saying that your grandma wants me to help you." "How can I reject such a heartfelt request from my dear friend?" Merlin said with a gentle smile on her face; to be honest, it looked more like a devil's smile to Erin.
"No need for that. The problem is already solved, now I don't get any of the dreams of the dragon."
'Except the said dragon is now living in my consciousness.' Erin thought to himself.
"Sigh… Little boy, you are too small to understand the matters of the soul. Look, I can already tell that the dragon has invaded your soul, and you have to get immediate treatment; otherwise, you might even lose control of your body to that dragon." Her smile was already gone, replaced with a serious one. She might want to know more about his condition, but that doesn't change the fact that he still needs help.
'Bitch, don't I already know what you want from me?' From the small amount of time he spent with her, he already got the gist of her personality. She was a bloody damn psychotic scientist ready to open his mind to satisfy her doubts.
"Dean- "
"You can call me Merlin."
"So, Merlin, how did you know that I was a hundred years old?" She was able to correctly guess about the dragon, and if someone else was able to tell that too, then it would be a troubling situation at the very least, and he wanted to be prepared for it.
"Nothing serious; I can look at the soul of the person."
"Is there anyone else you know who can do that?" Even though he was surprised by her ability, he still didn't show any of it on his face.
"I didn't find anyone else." She had tried looking for someone with similar abilities but always came back empty handed.
"That's good." He could finally relax a little with this new information, at least for now.
"So, let's start with your treatment." She stood up from the sofa looking at him with predatory eyes.
"It's already too late; let's talk about this next week. Ok, then bye." Erin immediately stood up and started walking to the door without turning back even once.
Merlin just stood there and looked at his back as he exited the room.
"If only he wasn't that bitch's grandson." She knew if she did something to him that bitch would wreck her lovely lab.
'Sigh, let's wait until next week till I get my hands on a dragon soul.' With a little disappointment, she vanished from her place.
Haa… After moving away from the building, he was finally able to relax. He was sure that if he hadn't left her office, she would have definitely made him her guinea pig.
'Now I understand why Grandma encouraged me to woo her.' He started moving back to his dorm while planning their next meeting.
When Erin returned to his dorm, Erika was sitting in the dining room, looking toward him.
"Master, come and have dinner." Her voice was a little tired. After the lectures, she had been looking for him in the whole academy, but he suddenly vanished, leaving her no choice but to wait for him at the dorm.
He quietly washed his hands, then sat next to her.
"Master, you know how unfair it is to leave me in the lecture hall alone; now you have to pamper me the whole night." She also wanted to leave with him, but he ordered her to take notes on all the lectures.
"Hmm." Erin just casually nodded and started eating dinner.
When they finished with dinner, they both took a bath in warm water to relax, where Erika ate her fill, then went into the bed, where Erika lay on the bed with Erin hugging her behind.
"So, my maid, give me a summary of the lectures." He had unfortunately missed all the rest of the lectures thanks to a certain old psycho woman.
"Ms. Amina told us about the basic things that most of us already knew; then came Mr. Aragon took us to the training field and showcased some of the basics of the aura; then it was again Mrs. Rosewood, who talked about the mana theory." Erika gave a basic summary of the events that happened today.
"Oh, and another thing, master, your name is already becoming famous." At least twenty students had come to her to learn more about him.
"Oh, what do they say about me?" He was a little curious about what they were saying about him.
"Most of them were calling you the shy prince."
Erin's smile suddenly stiffened. "Are you serious?" After the show he gave them yesterday, this is the nickname they came up with. Now, he wanted to find the person who created his nickname and beat the shit out of whoever they were.
"Why the fuck are they calling me with this shitty name?"
"Well, actually, master, that's what the people call you in the whole kingdom." Even before the academy, people were already calling him a shy young master.
"Huh?" Now he was confused.
She turned around, looking at his confused face.
"Master, you have to remember, you haven't attended any kind of noble gathering since your birth, and madam lied to the world about your coma, after which people gave you the nickname The Shy Young Master, and after people started knowing more about your identity, they gave you the new nickname, The Shy Prince."
"Urgh, I don't want to beat everyone who calls me that; should I quit the academy?" He was sure he would beat the shit out of the unlucky person who would dare to call him that.
"Master, don't be so rash! It's just a name; all you have to do is ignore it."
"Ignore, I tell you; tomorrow I'm gonna have them change it."
"How?"
"You'll know tomorrow; let's sleep for now." He closed his eyes, while Erika just looked at him for a few seconds before also closing her own eyes.
When Erin opened his eyes, he was back in the not so familiar yet familiar consciousness space.
This time he didn't waste time, starting to walk toward the cherry blossom tree and the beauty sitting below it. No matter how many times he saw her face, he always fell into a daze looking at her.
"Snap out of it." She clapped her hands once.
Erin, who was back in his body, looked at her, who was looking at him with her poker face while having a book in her hand.
"Good evening, Lady Tiamat." Erin said it with a polite smile.
"Hmm." She just nodded at his greeting, then focused back on reading the book.
"..."
'Is she ignoring me?' He was getting the vibe that she was doing it on purpose. He decided to sit right next to her, looking at the scenery in front.
After a long half hour, Tiamat finally closed the books and looked at him.
"You don't need to apologise, and actually, I need your help."
To Be Continued…
Roberta was standing naked in front of the mirror, looking at her body.
"Looks like there is no burn mark." She finally sighed in relief.
