Chereads / Mated To The Devil Alpha / Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: The betray

Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: The betray

The next morning as early as 7 am, I had already washed the remaining clothes I had in the laundry and went into the pack to look for dirty clothes. I can't explain how I feel but I no longer felt like dying and my back wasn't bleeding. My chin had healed halfway and the black and Purple eye marks had almost disappeared.

That's the advantage of being a complete werewolf, even if you get broken into different pieces, you will surely get as good as new.

Ewwww, I smelt of raw meat, not fresh and not badly oozing. Although, I am not yet a full wolf but I know how awful I smelt. Like rain and dry buds, mixed with a faint smell of peppermint has always been what I smelt like. Poor Rain, I don't even know what I smell without injury.

It's always a fresh wound, the smell of trash as I used to clear the trash some time ago, or the smell of my own blood.

Before leaving, I made sure to put on the only hoodie I have which is actually the only good and new cloth I had ever gotten. It was given to me by a stranger when I was walking very far from this pack and neighboring packs into the woods. Then I was literally freezing to death that winter season when I was made to go alone and fetch human-made donuts for Camille.

Imagine such wickedness, somethings I get to wonder if that is the reason she is still not yet loved by the Alpha.

Back then deep inside the woods, I meet a stranger who thought that I was a lost human and had offered to take me to the police. But when I insisted that I was totally fine, The stranger said he just brought the hoodie for his girlfriend who had just broken up with him and since I needs it more than her, I should have it instead.

Sometimes when I am so broken, I pick up the hoodie and sniff it, someday I will get a mate that would be able to love me too.

I heaved a soft sigh of relief as I walked past the pack's training camp and nothing happen. Normally, I would have been called and made caricature by the pups getting training. They would make sure I am exhausted before going around the pack to get the dirty clothes from the Alpha family, beta's family, and Delta's family.

The Gramma and some of the Elder's family's laundry were taken care of by another omega and since they were not much in the pack, the rest of the Omega works in the kitchen. The ones working in the kitchen get fair treatment, well, not so good but at least they don't have to wash tons of clothes before they get breakfast once for the whole day.

With my neck low as if my head could not stay straight, I rushed to the beta's house to get their dirty cloth. The Delta's house was next and as I knew it, Axon always seats on his comfy sofa where he stares at the blank wall. He would also pretend not to see me much more acknowledging my presence as I come to get his dirty clothes.

'Maybe I was supposed to be created invisible'

Forcing myself not to roll my eyes and scoff as I walked to his room to get his dirty clothes as usual became the most difficult task to do but still, I survived. I had barely sorted them out when I felt another person's presence behind me. Since Axon's Dad had gone to the elders' meeting while his mother to the women's meeting, getting prepared for Alpha Brook's ball the only person home should Axon.

"You need to see the Alpha, Now!" Axon said.

Without replying, I made sure to gather the clothes and attempt to walk out but was blocked. My lazy brown eyes meet Axon's Hazel ones and I sighed.

"It's not like you care, Delta Axon" I muttered "Please let me do my work so I can rest on time for tonight's ball preparation"

Axon growled, his eyes changing color to black as he struggled to keep himself in charge. It's obvious his wolf is trying to surface and he is also trying to control it. His claws grew out of his fingers as he turned against his room wall and began to punch it.

Like I care!

"If there is anything going on just let me know," I said a bit scared "Even if it means my death at least I will get to rest at least?" I added unsurely.

Although I couldn't tell if it was a question or not, all I cared about is Axon furs and claws that kept appearing and disappearing.

Fine, I know I don't care before but I truly care now.

At this point, the only thing that came to my mind is to use the nearest exit which is the door beside Axon, or jump down the window straight into the pack's market square and that is not a good idea.

I had to remind myself that I don't fix back like normal werewolves.

"Go see the Alpha now, Rain, Go!".

Casually I held the clothes on my chest and twisted my lips.

"I don't usually go to gather the Alpha's clothes by this time, Axey" I whispered.

For the first time in a very long time, I am calling him by his nickname again, the name I gave to him Five years ago.

My legs became weak as I moved back on seeing Axon on the verge of a half shift.

His skin was covered in Black furs, his fingers replaced by his claws, his eyes black, and his vegetarian teeth gone. He brought out a dagger from his pocket and stabbed his left shoulder with it. The silver made a black burn on his skin, making him groan in pain before hiding it under his bed.

"I am sorry, Rain, I have to do this".

I don't understand!

"What on earth are you doing?" I panicked.

"what the heck would you...?".

Before I could figure out why he had stabbed himself with Silver, Axon brought out something shiny from his pocket and gave it to me.

Slowly, I foolishly stretched my arm and collected. Her jaw dropped when I saw the content and I looked up at him stunned to even breathe.

"No way!" I gasped.

Shaking my head in disagreement as I offered back what Axon had given to me, I made a weird sound with my throat still rejecting it, even my slow brain rejecting it.

"Hell no," I moved close to him "I don't trust yo-".

Without warning, Axon threw me over his good shoulder and dashed out of his room, leaving the main door ajar.

"Axon?" I panicked "What a-aa-are you DO-ing?".

Twitching, I tried to free myself but his strong arm around my small body only made it worst.

My heart skipped a beat and nearly explored. Although I had been through a lot, being into many things I didn't expect but this creeps me out the most.

"Please, Axon" I sniffed "I don't know what you want to do to me but I beg you please don't hurt me".

Weird right?

I am supposed to be used to pain by now instead I am here, twitching kike a rainbow lizard.

"Relax, Rain, we gat no time" Was his all Axon said as he hurried out the door.

Still yet I wiggled. I kept struggling and crying but my pleadings fell on Axon's deaf ears as he processed on taking me to where she least expected.

I watch him examine his left shoulder and I can see that it has started healing. Even if it was slow because of the sliver, that alone made him begin to. With his worried look, I believe he won't want to be almost healed before he reaches the chamber.

"Axon!" I groaned as my empty stomach bumped into his hard shoulder "What's happening? What are you doing?" I wiggled "Let me go-"

My heart stopped for a few seconds. Although I had always looked white but now, I look as good as dead already.

I gulped when the Alpha's chamber opened and I was thrown harshly to the ground. My sad eyes looked up at Axon's human form.

Popping out would be an understatement, my eyes enlarged as I have to witness Axon acting hurt. His left palm lay upon his wounded right shoulder for a few seconds before he looked at it and gaze down at me.

Silent.

Total silent as all Axon and I did was stare at themselves.

"What's going on here?" Alpha Jaxon growled.

Snapping out our staring contest which believe won, Axon placed his palm on top of his wounded shoulders and groaned dramatically.

"Delta Axon" Brooklyn scoffed "We are in the..."

"I noticed something suspicious when Rain visited my chamber this morning" Axon interrupted breathing hard.

"She has this funny smell even when she is unmated and when she passed something dropped" Axon paused and glared at me who lay confused on the floor.

His gaze was cold. As cold as the devil's

"She had stolen one of your royal seal rings and had refused to give it to me" He rushed "I tried to check the type of ring but attempt to swallow it and she stabbed me with a silver knife and try to escape" he ended up breathing hard.

I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. My lips quivered as I held the hoodie over my head as if protecting myself with it. From the side quick view, she saw Alpha Brook and Alpha Jaxon, A man was standing at the far end sipping coffee, and unfamiliar-looking men standing beside him.

Her heart began to beat louder as if it would explode. Yesterday's meeting with Axon began to unfold as I understood why he had offered Mr his blood. Why he had suddenly visited and why he had tried to act nice.

"Rain?" Alpha Jaxon questioned, he glared at my clenched fist until I opened it and reviewed the ring in her palm "I have been looking for this since a day before yesterday when I last left you in my chamber" He walked towards me Where are the rest?" He growled.

My jaw dropped the same as the ring. I placed her palms together and began to rub them together vigorously, tears coming out of my eyes and mucus from my nose. My eyes were swollen and red showing the black eyes I had before.

"This has to be a mistake!" I cried "I didn't take your ring! Please believe me! I won't do such a thing" I crawled towards Alpha Jaxon "Please Alpha, you know I won't do such-"

My voice got cut off as I received a slap across my wounded chin. A piercing scream escaped my lips as I fell to the ground and crawls into a ball. I was expecting more pain when I heard a voice, a voice I had never heard before but felt so familiar and safe.

"That's enough!"

The simple order came from the person sitting behind the man drinking coffee. His face look cold, ice-cold as he glared at Alpha Jaxon. His natural blue eyes flashed black and a loud growl escaped his throat as Alpha Jaxon attempted to hit Rain again.

"I said, ENOUGH!!!" He barked.

For the first time I noticed Alpha Jaxon flinch, he showed some kind of fear including his son Alpha Brook sitting beside him, staring at me like she has grown additional heads.

"Let me handle this myself" the man paused as he glance at the room well "This is why I have come here".

He walked towards me and bent on a knee to meet my face. Then I knew nothing but the truth, nothing but the real purpose of my life.

There was something about this man, the aura, the bond, the connection! This man can't be my mate. This ruthless man.

I am done! I am so done!!
