Whole day I didn't talked with him. That's his punishment for not taking my side. He wanted to help me with dinner but I refused to take help. And again he had to sleep in the guest room.
Today when he was leaving for work. I let purvi serve him his breakfast. His expression says he isn't happy. And that made me sad too. I don't like making him sad since he looks so pitiful. Like a child abondent by his parents.
But I have to stay strong can't melt infront of him everytime he makes that face. And I have many works to do today , can't waste time on anyone else. I have decided that I can't wait for the weather to get warmer to start working. I have to start now.
Only yesterday sister in law has sent me a basket filled with lemons. And today I made a bowl filled with lemon candy. First I cut the lemons in circular shape, boiled them to remove bitterness, and then cotted them with sugar syrup. Now they're ready. And I hope other kids will like them too.
And for that I will distribute some free samples in the market and see what happens. I will go in Anita's shop and talk with her and while getting back I will buy more supplies for my home. But who will care for the kids? Can't send for mother in law, we both are angry on each other.
ButvI am sure that my sister in law will help me. So I gathered my kids and took them in her house. She smiled and welcomed me in as soon as she saw me but she looks worried.
" what happened? Why so sad? " I asked her. She thought about it for sometime than said " I am not upset... Just confused. What to make for my husband. I have made roti and sabji but didn't make chutney. " she said and well I think I can take care of that.
" Don't worry at all, lets make Mirchi Techa. Do you have chillies, garlic, and peanuts at home? " I asked her. She nodded and took out everything I said to her. She lit the chuhla for me.
" Now in a pan I will pour some oil and fry these green chillies in it. " I told her and started frying the chillies in it, than I cumin seeds, garlic and added peanuts in it and fried them a bit. After that I took them in a bowl. I added salt, corriender leaves and little red chillies in it.
Than I grinneded everything together in a paste. " Here now he can enjoy a nice chutney. " I told my sister in law and she looked very happy. " Bhabi , I maybe a little late, send lunch for my husband too. Pradip will deliver the food to his father. " I told her and she agreed.
After settling everything I sarted walking towards town. I hope people likes my candies and I can start working. Soon I reached Anita's shop. She was stitching a wedding gown and looking at it very longingly. But her eyes are sad. I don't known what's going on but she is deeply thinking about something.
I gently took her name and she came to her senses. " sister, come in. Long time sister. What can I do for you sister? " she asked with a smile. " Nothing special, sister brought something for you. " I told her and handed her the candies.
She tried one and her eyes lit up. " sister they're so good. I just loved them. " she said while eating like a child. " I came to discuss about this only. I want to sell them. I brought more for you. When a customer come here, you give them one free sample and if they like it take order. And sister will come day after tommorow to take the orders and will deliver them by next day. " I told her and she listened carefully.
" I will sutely help sister, don't worry. Since sister wants to sell them , I will surely help you to sell them." She said with a smile. I looked at the wedding dress that she was making and asked her " You made bridal dresses too? ". She smiled dryly.
" Now sew, I don't think I can wear one. Too old for that. " she said and I couldn't control my laughter. She looked surprised when I laughed. " My sweet sister you're just twenty, how is that old? Its correct time to get married. " I told her and her suprised look remained. She must have heard that she is too old to marry now.
" Anita, even I have a daughter and I will not wed her before twenty seven, or when she wants. I will want her to read and grow and stand on her feet. Only a mature woman can handle a family with love and responsibility. " I told her. Hope she understands my point.
" so its not late. And your sister will look for your groom so relax. " I told her and she gave me a shy smile. After talking with her I left her shop. Only lemon candies will not do. I have sell something different, something tasty which everyone will love to eat.
I bought some spices for Achar and came back home. The little ones are well fed, I gave my sister in law some lemon candies for her kids. I put down my kids for a nap.
I sat down with papers where I assign Purvi, pradip and Arun Works, they are learning alphabets, while I drew figures for Aakash to colour. After doing that I cleaned the house a little, watered the plants and took a nap.
Advik was back by evening, I told pradip to serve him his tea and snacks. He didn't said anything and just sat with Arav. I made dinner while supervising my kids works.
" purvi, pradip, Arun come here. " called Advik. As they went near him, he handed them each a dag, some copies and a waterbottle. " you will need this when you go school so keep them nicely. " he said to the kids. He agreed to send purvi to school.
" Thank you father. " said the kids and went to see their things while Aakash sat with a sad face in my lap. " I didn't get anything mommy " he said in such a sad tone that I really felt sorry for him.
" You're little thats why you're not going to school. You will stay with mommy. " I told him and gave him a kiss. I gave a lemon candy and he was happy. Its so easy to make them happy.
After dinner and every nightly routine I lied down with purvi and Arav. They slept pretty early and even I was feeling sleepy when I felt two arms has picked me up from the bed. I was scared but than in the faint light I could see Advik in my room so I didn't made any noise.
He brought me in the guest room and lied me down nicely in his bed and lied beside me and holded me close to himself. Its a first time that I am receving such intimate hug. I wanted to move away from him but he didnt let him.
His head is in the hollow of my neck, I could warm tears on my neck. " I am sorry " said Advik in a broken tone. His voice is sad, so I didn't lied to leave and lied still. Again he said " I am so sorry. "
