When Li Shi had arrived earlier, he had seen many residential communities from the car, with shops on the ground floor.
He took the elevator downstairs, turned around a bit, and found a late-night food stall. He ordered two signature dishes, one Beef Tendon Jumping Frog, one Spicy Duck with Ginger, plus beer and barbecue for a simple meal.
This food stall had a storefront, but tables and chairs were arranged on the spacious ground outside the storefront, right next to the road. Even though it was late at night, there were still quite a few customers, with about ten tables nearly full.
Groups of three to five sat at each table, eating and chatting, creating a lively atmosphere.
Only Li Shi was alone, sitting there sipping his drink in silence, somewhat out of place amid the surrounding noise.
The sensitive young ladies nearby felt a bit sorry for his solitude.
Li Shi, however, did not feel lonely at all.
