At two o'clock in the afternoon, Li Shi began his descent down Heng Shan through the Brahma Sound Ancient Trail.
Most people who hike up and down mountains take the main trails. Those who take these solitary smaller paths are quite few.
Firstly, he arrived at the Brahma Sound Pavilion Waterfall and continued to follow the small path downwards. Along the way, he passed by a stone gate, Pot Cave and stone pillars, and reached the Le Dao Pavilion.
During his journey, Li Shi only encountered a few groups of mountain climbers, spending most of his time alone, enjoying the tranquility of the mountain. It helped that Li Shi had great physical endurance, which made his downhill journey, unlike the uphill hikers, quite relaxing.
Besides sightseeing, Li Shi hadn't forgotten to search the roadside. When he was nearing the Shen Zhou Ancestral Temple, he found a straight piece of deadwood by the roadside.
