The scenery in the village was indeed good, including the central residential houses, some of which were rather old with a history of one to two hundred years, quite distinctive.
However, what they initially pursued was a kind of relative isolation. The three of them had lived here for more than a dozen days, barely taking a good look around. Most of the time, they stayed home, at most taking a stroll along the stream outside their yard together.

He knew there was another reason for why the girl proposed to start this afternoon: of all the traditional Chinese clothing she had bought back in Beijing, she hadn't yet worn the most important and beautiful one.
Sure enough, Ai Ya sprang to her feet upon hearing Li Shi's agreement, declaring, "Then I'll go change."
After she left for the backyard, Li Shi asked Li Shi Yi, "Are you afraid to stay home alone while we go around the village?"
